If it is Trump (R) vs Hillary (D) we are really in for a treat.

The next 8 days will be the end of Bernie. A bunch of high-delegate states that Clinton is going to run away with. He's not going to win anything until Utah in like 2 weeks. I mean congrats on winning Maine, Kansas, and Nebraska bro.

I think Bernie is a much better debater than Hillary. I was only able to watch the first half hour, but things that stood out:

1) when asked what she would do about the Flint water problem, Hillary said she "would double and triple check everything", an answer that is positively Palin-esque.

2) then one of her responses included the possible repercussion of "people may have to resign" which is such a pussy foot/PC way of saying people would be fired (and in this case everyone would support that) but she still won't say her. Hillary, nobody ever "resigns" due to scandal.

3) on the NAFTA issue Hillary had no comeback to Bernie's line of "you didn't have to be an economist to realize this was going to be bad for automative jobs here in Michigan". well, perhaps Bernie, but you do have to be an economist to figure out if NAFTA in sum has been a net positive or negative for the entire country, which is the real issue people should be concerned about. But Hillary had nothing.

Would almost have to consider voting for Cruz over Hillary at this point if it came to that. Shes that bad. Bernie needs to go all-in on winning Michigan and hope that momentum can carry him.

Schu,

So why did you vote for Hillary? This should be good.

This is a ridiculous take

Woody,

Is there a potential VP candidate Hillary could take, a potential opponent she would face, or anything that would ever make you vote for her?

Probably no to the VP thing unless there's some younger, less radical version of Bernie I don't know about who would be in line to be next president maybe.

In terms of who she's running against. I would vote for her over Rubio because he's just a dumber, less accomplished, slightly worse version of her.

At this point I'm undecided on Hillary over Cruz. As terrible as he is, I do believe he is at least somewhat principled, which I respect to a small degree. Which is more than any respect or admiration I have for her. 99% chance I wouldn't vote at all if it came to that because she'd win NY easily.

I would vote for Kasich or Trump over her. And would vote Mitt or Paul Ryan over her as well. And like 100 other boring democrats like O'Malley.

isn't Elizabeth Warren the young Bernie?

but I don't think Hillary would go with a female VP

Hillary + Warren would be the most insane ticket of all time.

They are basically polar opposites, plus there is that interview with Warren that I linked itt before that shows her calling out Hillary for being bought by big corporations re: Bankruptcy Bill.

I'm very liberal, all aboard the Bern train, think there's often very little difference between the parties, yadayadayada...but there are stark, massive differences between Shillary and that vampy perv. #NeverVampyPerv.

With the growing insaneification of the Republican Party it is getting kind of hard to say with a straight face that there are very few differences between the political parties. I mean if you look at republicans in 1988 and Democrats in 2016, sure that's probably true. But the 2016 Republican Party is just bananas level nonstop crazy town. People are openly saying that Ted Cruz is the sensible alternative. TED ****ING CRUZ

I didn't watch the whole debate but I thought Hillary's worst moment was when asked about her support for the '94 crime bill all she could find to say was "Bernie voted for that, too." Given another chance she again just said, "Bernie voted for it, too!" Bernie meanwhile had a nice and reasonable explanation for why he voted for it with the assault weapon ban and women DV protection also in that bill.

No **** . You have to be one of the dumbest people alive to truly believe there is hardly any difference between the parties domestically . Could plausibly make the argument on foreign policy but the mental gymnastics it takes on domestic issues are hilarious

I think it is fair to say that I am most sympathetic to Ted Cruz's positions with regard to his face.

I do not believe I am sympathetic to a single other thing I've heard him say.

He's said "that should be an issue for the states to decide" once or twice, which might just be enough to make him >Hillary.

Thought of sanders even being a consideration at this stage is legit terrifying. Just a complete clown candidate.

He came up briefly during intermission in meeting with fed and general consensus from both sides was that he'd be woat

And actually I think that on foreign policy the difference is even greater. The likelihood of a serious war like Iraq is imo much higher with the Republicans. Like would Gore have invaded Iraq? I doubt it. Wil hilldawg invade Iran? Seems unlikely. Would Ted Cruz invade Iran? DONT WANT TO FIND OUT BRO

That actually goes towards my point though. Yes hilldawg is a hawk. But these Republicans are totally off the spectrum.
