wow so weird that the dems who supposedly really, really, really want to win this election badly won't adopt such a popular policy goal that would save lives AND money
prob has nothing to do with them getting 1/3 of their $$$ from private health ghouls huh
can't risk it in case they crush the election and have to do it, amazing
also leaving the door wide open to get outflanked on any kind of social relief, which will def happen
like a week before the election fredo will just promise another $1000 check or something and coast to a 70/30 win
But you have to reward this behavior and continue to incentivize it by voting for the senile decrepit sex pest segregationist, because, well, we can't specifically point to anything that would be better for any marginalized group of people that doesn't completely fall apart after the slightest bit of scrutiny, but just do it, OK? Otherwise you are a bad person.
You are a bad person, even though your vote mathematically has 0 effect even if you live in the swingiest of swing states. You're a bad person, but the people who sacrifice nothing, who risk nothing, who think their vote is the end of their civic duty, we aren't going to call them out. You're a bad person even though we are literally telling you that, yes, we know you have survived multiple sexual assaults, and we know it just gets worse every 4 years when you really think we've already hit rock bottom on who we are going to trot out there, in an election that we tell you is the only way to prevent certain and total fascism, and we know you know that we make our money no matter who wins, but please, just relive your sexual assaults at the ballot box and pull the lever for a guy you'd throw a cinder block to if he was drowning.
Please continue to vote for the party who doesn't just refuse to fund progressive primary winners against vulnerable incumbent GOP nazis like Steve King, but actively gets people like, oh I don't know, THE PIECE OF **** WE ARE TRYING TO NOMINATE to give a speech endorsing the GOP incumbents all across the land because the Democrat challenger was an actual progressive who beat our slimebag lobbyist we go golfing with.
I really wish and pray to god that some of you could get some goddamn introspection, and put aside your smug impression of yourself as some kind of ruthless technocrat, and start to question why it is that you can't convince working class people to just "be a grownup and pick the lesser of two evils." Seriously, I am completely disgusted by a couple people in this thread, and I wish you would take people's anger as a reason to question your beliefs and values, instead of just dismissing as irrational. Even if it's just to adjust your piss-poor strategy and bullshit conventional wisdom about elections, and you don't even decide to try giving any empathy to the people you claim you want to help.
