Bernie never had a chance- Biden's messaging of telling potential voters to go **** themselves plays too well in 2020.

Looking forward to the debate between Biden and Trump!

I mean this wasn't rigged in any way. It wasn't "The DNC" who chose Biden. It was Democratic voters. Just because I don't like the outcome doesn't mean I won't accept it. Joe Biden is still very popular with a large subset of Democratic voters, and a lot of those are people who aren't exactly the same population of people on 2p2. But it doesn't mean their votes are any less valid than ours.

myself, and damn near ever single person that put time and effort into supporting Bernie do not see it that way. I guess we are all idiots and you are clear eyed.

but you may have missed what happened before Super Tues and what happened at every debate and what happened in TX and CA. most likely you just dont care.

I kind of wish Biden had been a little more visible during this pandemic.

Criticizing things Trump has done (and there is no shortage of opportunities), saying what he would have done differently.

I dunno, call it a leadership function.

I guess the plan for the Democratic Establishment is to keep him away from cameras and the public as long as possible until November, or at least until the Convention.

Yang *openly* said he dropped out bc Biden offered him a cabinet position. Same is obviously true for the others who dropped at the same time. You can say that's the game, but it obviously wasn't "fair."

So far this has worked. Trump got an initial bump for being visable ("Hey he's doing something. That must be leadership!"), but now his numbers are sinking ("Wait, everything he's done and doing is terrible").

Biden's campaign slogan is basically "No ****ing way you're better off now than you were 4 years ago", so he doesn't even really need to be around for it to work. Just let Trump be himself and show up and flash that smile in November.

No, you should be able to run Bernie because he's the best guy for the job but you can't because he couldn't get anyone to vote for him.

Bernie did worse than in 2016. Dude was just too stubborn to reach out to more moderate voters that he needed (especially if it came to the general).

Despite this, his fans will be ranting and raving about Biden not reaching out to them (and you can tell from this thread that anything he would do would never be enough).

Biden will have better luck reaching out to the never-Trump Rs. His policies are closer to theirs anyways.

O'RLY

...but S.C....oh boy...when was the last time a Dem won that state in a General Election...not that it matters because Biden isn't winning S.C. or any of the other states in the south.

To say that is wasn't rigged is about a dumb a thing I've read on 2+2 in a while. Look at the numbers...look what happened the day before Super Tuesday...look at your post again...think really hard...then come back to us...

Biden, while running for president, has called a woman a lying dog-faced pony soldier, told a construction worker that he's full of ****, and has told potential voters to vote for someone else when challenged on his stances.

That's not something a serious candidate does. People can talk about Bernie and his bros as much as they want (Which I think a decent % of people do to avoid having to confront how inept Biden is), but it's not going to change the fact that Biden is an emotionally unstable man who far too often attacks people he needs on his side, with the added bonus of struggling to speak in complete sentences when trying to say things that he's spent time rehearsing with his debate team.

I mean sure, he's better than Trump, but it's a little like saying you'd take a wet fart over a kick in the nuts. It may be true, but it sure is disappointing.

The first part isn't true at all...he very much went on numerous podcasts, and other media outlets that are not deemed "Progressive" to get his message out...however I will concede he probably didn't do as much as he should have in terms of straight volume. The bigger problem, which most Dems. have as well is, this inability to fight dirty as some how the taking the high road works out. Bernie failed in that regard, and should have came out swinging at Biden the SAME DAY Dark Money Pete, and Amy dropped out. But he never deviated from his strategy. To be fair I don't think fighting dirty is his style...but 2020 was set up to be a fight...and he never adapted.

As for fans ranting, and raving and blah blah blah...dude quit it... I don't have to do ****. YES Biden has to sell me on his vote. I don't fall in line just like that just because the DNC wants to rig the game. **** them.
