Trump would jizz himself if he heard he was running against someone called Buttigieg.

Loooooool at Lynzie, Mitch, Mitt and the rest of these absolute cowards coming out with half assed defenses of McCane that don’t even mention Trump. What a bunch of indescribably flaccid, gutless losers.

yeah i mean about the entire Dem field is made up of bizarre sociopaths who just want the big job because they're kind of insane, and are more than willing to sell out literally everything to "bipartisan compromise" for a bunch of money and to keep the status quo rolling along, while cosplaying a "progressive", and don't actually have any vision for the world or how to improve anything really

then on the other side they don't even really pretend to care about anything anymore, because nobody cares
just hate the things we hate and you're good to do literally anything you want
and keep all the money rolling to the rich

so yeah, anything actually genuine will probably resonate

i don't think it's possible for the right to even do this
Trump is probably the closest you can get
he sorta tells it like it is, but doesn't act on it at all obv, so unless you're rich, the best you can hope for is a livable wage as a guard at the concentration camp
a lot of ppl seem to think this is a good bargain

Dukakis.

Quote:
Bernard Shaw, the moderator of the debate, asked Dukakis, "Governor, if Kitty Dukakis [his wife] were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?" Dukakis replied, "No, I don't, and I think you know that I've opposed the death penalty during all of my life", and explained his stance.
Good luck ever hearing an answer like that again, even in the face of his having been coached not to answer that way because of the whole Willie Horton thing.

All Military Style Semi-Automatic weapons and assault weapons have been banned effective immediately.

The Government has also moved to ban a number of accessories which can take lower capacity semi-automatic to weapons of far greater killing capacity.

Related parts used to convert those guns into MSSAs are also being banned, along with all high-capacity magazines.

I remember Gravel as the first guy to throw his hat into the 2008 presidential race. Not getting any traction, he decided to switch to the Libertarian Party. As I despise libertarians, F that guy.

yeah, the exchange rate is pretty unfavorable. 1 US thought = 0.478 New Zealand thoughts. In fact, many new zealanders have been dabbling in the cryptoprayer market.

Gravel joined the Libertarians temporarily in order to keep his campaign going and get his message out there further. He has many libertarian positions and is obviously a left libertarian despite his tax policy positions. For example, he favors single payer healthcare and does not believe in baloney like the Citizens United decision.

If you don't like Gravel because you're an authoritarian, then that makes sense. If you don't like him because you think he's basically Ron Paul, then you're wildly off base.

Left libertarianism would likely do wonders for this country and getting this guy exposure is important. Your comment is absurd, unless you're an authoritarian, in which case, I disagree with you, but your comment would make sense.

I would describe my opposition to Republicans as fundamentally a disagreement over the role and size of government. If I oppose Republicans on those grounds, it would be reasonable to think I have a problem with a fringe group composed of anti-government nutjobs. I don't identify as authoritarian, but I do identify as a big-government liberal.

I'm sorry, but if you're a "big govt" liberal, then you're an authoritarian. There's nothing WRONG with that. It's just how you think.

But there is more to leftism than big govt. For example, Chomsky probably is the best representative of left libertarianism. His ideas could do so much for this country imo.

I think you are kind of talking past each other, a lot of anarcho-syndicalists like Chomsky advocate intermediary “big government” Scandinavian social welfare measures

Thinking of it in terms of being for or against big government as an underlying principle is sort of just falling victim to right wing framing

Yeah, maybe so, but liberals hating on Gravel for joining the Libertarians for two seconds seems strange when he's clearly someone who represents left wing values.
