They might not actually have intended to kill the journalist. It sounds like the IDF has been shooting folks they think are in Hamas in the head and other folks in the leg. Which is why there are so many wounded compared to dead. So they were maybe trying to shoot the journalist in the leg and oops. Hey that's why pencils have erasers, amirite?

We have so little information regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting that screaming murder at this point is a massive tell.

Especially when Hamas has ADMITTEDLY coordinated the “resistance” at the wall.

No, it’s more like terrorist organizations don’t get the benefit of the doubt when they *again, ADMITTEDLY* organize violent resistance.

Because the army that were warned by the UN that they were risking breaking the Geneva convention by firing on protesters are obviously a far more reliable source.

It's true that there's no evidence as to whether or not the journalist was deliberately targetted, but as far as I can tell it's pretty much fact that he was killed by fire from the IDF.

If they dont want people to criticize them for murdering thousands they could always try not murdering.

The protestors, organized by Hamas, were repeatedly told by IDF to not approach within a certain distance of the wall. Protestors have thrown rocks (which have killed Israelis in the past). That would suggest they’re not being hunted or “targeted”; they’re aggressively pursuing danger, ignoring orders from guys carrying guns, and getting funerals at which Hamas leaders celebrate their aggression. I’m told suicide bombing cultures adopt this tack from time to time

I agree that the IDF isn’t an impartial source, but I’m not prepared to call them murderers quite yet given the credibility of Hamas.

At no time during the last 70 years have they ever wanted in good faith, to make peace. Otherwise, they wouldn't have walked away in 2000, when Barak offered them about 95% of their demands
