“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers.

Bannon went on, Wolff writes, to say that if any such meeting had to take place, it should have been set up “in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people”. Any information, he said, could then be “dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication”.

Bannon added: “You never see it, you never know it, because you don’t need to … But that’s the brain trust that they had.”

They’re going to roll those two guys up and say play me or trade me.”

Scorning apparent White House insouciance, Bannon reaches for a hurricane metaphor: “They’re sitting on a beach trying to stop a Category Five.”

the TRUMP branding is literally a sign to criminals/oligarchs/plutocrats that, hey, you can launder your money here! that is the only reason trump has had any success in business at all. he's a dumb, greedy muppet that acts as a conduit to launder money. thats it. the money laundering thing has already been definitively proven, in public, via a few very good investigative journalism pieces.

also it doesn't matter because the party that has the power to impeach (republicans) are totally in thrall to a different set of money men

there is a huge billboard out about 45 minutes from KC by the sons of confederate veterans that says like "20,000 blacks in confederate army?" and has their web address. presumably you go to the website and see the real truth about how blacks actually wanted the confederates to win. i laugh every time i drive by it

it goes much deeper, read it. very, very scary stuff. after all i've read about trump, somehow this excerpt manages to make him look even less competent. something i did not, until now, think was possible. fills in a lot of the gaps wrt what we knew about his inner circle.
