tbqh i don't see the huge deal here. everything in this was after the election so i don't really see how this hurts trump very much. and not only was it after the election but like "flynn told russians not to escalate situation after sanctions" but lied to us about it...well okay i guess he lied but i don't get what he did that is so horrible

i think its best to think of a lot of this russia stuff the way we talk about al capone and taxes.

cheating the govt out of money is bad but its not as bad as murder, its just the thing that ended up being the easiest case to bring and win, from a legal perspective.

unless new information comes out re: trumps and russia, its mostly low level corruption, some of it is even rather reasonable diplomacy, and wouldnt crack the top 50 of worst things that have happened over the last year.

if the root of the russia stuff ends up being proven, ie team drumpf and team putin reached an agreement whereby russia would use its hackers and twitter bots etc to help get drumpf elected in return for pro-kremlin foreign policy then its a lot worse than capone's taxes
