Even if the author's claims, such as they are (and the author takes pains not to stake out a definitive position), are imprecise and possibly informed by isolationist predilections, it is clear that media accounts (some of which the government relies upon in part to make decisions) are generated through--at best--a grossly ad hoc and unscientific process.

We have satellite coverage on Syria. Our government can tell where the planes came from for these attacks. Our government can lie to us, but to say we rely on NYT reports to know who to bomb is wrong.

Today Alabama's governor (Titty-grabber) has resigned. This flies in the face of his Friday announcement that he would not resign, but probably best to trust the more recent news.

In a fascinating tangent, this leaves Alabama with our second female governor after George Wallace's wife, or more accurately, our first female governor.

Rather presumptuous of the blogger to assume that the US bombed Assad's airfield and freak out about it as if it is the 100% truth. Yes, Trump claimed that he ordered it but I can give you a thousand examples of him lying. How do we know someone like Turkey didn't do it and Trump just claim responsibility for it so he could look like he is in control? I am not saying that is what happened, but there is no way to know for sure.
