I can definitely believe that something like "Hey, black person, can you set up a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus for me" is an everyday conversation for a guy like Eddy

Hell, Eddy, you're not even going to convince anyone you have good intentions at heart when you always ignore all context about a bigot so that you can attack what would be an overreaction if there was no context.

Nah, "pick your battles" has been used to silence the oppressed for all of time. The last time it was used so frequently in this country, until the current backlash against PC that doesn't understand what PC is, was during the Civil Rights movement.

And, again, I feel like you do not understand that it isn't this particular video clip that drove this reaction. It's the pattern the video fits, and the reaction came in a thread that was live blogging the calamity that was the press conference.

Please tell me if that makes sense to you. If it makes sense, please tell me you are now questioning whether you were right to call this out as an oversensitive reaction, or a reaction that needs to be muted for strategic purposes.

basically what you're saying is "all these horrible things he's saying and doing now? ya they may be horrible but don't get mad about that because SOMETHING REALLY BAD MAY HAPPEN THAT YOU DO NEED TO GET MAD AT!"

it's the same logic behind everyone being outraged when he was elected and the response being "let him be president and then see what happens" **** that noise. he can and must be judged on EVERYTHING, not get a pass on things people deem insignificant compared to some apocalyptic event

Rush was mocking the media and the left for calling for a further investigation re: Flynn and Russia.

His argument? Well, he didn't really have one. He just used a sarcastic tone of voice. "Boo hoo we want an investigation." Meanwhile, Hannity was having a caller come back for a second segment that was literally screaming that they need to find out the source of the leaks and prosecute.

Yeah I didn't find that particular clip horrifying at all. I found it dumb and not sure why he would ask a reporter to set up a meeting for him, but horrifying? No.
