Favorable view of the United States was hovering around 60-65% in polls here even back under Obama. No data yet for right now but seems liable to be under 50%. If it does get really low I would recommend tweeting something like "Australia has been mooching off the US for decades, what is this ANZUS thing? Terrible deal!". That should do the trick.

Dems need to do a better job manipulating him. He has such a hard on for bragging about making great deals it should be incredibly easy to trick him into making deals that helps progressives. Just have to make a bunch of meaningless concessions that he thinks are important.

Dems typically years behind and rather than figure out how to get things done just gonna throw their hands up and start resorting to what worked for gop years ago.

Where X is something that would happen anyway like this Supreme Court nomination, and A, B, and C are actual policies that they want to get across. That way, Trump gets to say "look, my pick was so good even the Democrats agree!" while the Dems actually get something back

It's a peek into his ideology. Which is one that prbly appeals to a lot of us to a degree, but he can't/doesn't want to open himself up to outright discussion of. It needs to be talked about behind 'closed doors' with a relatively safe and receptive audience.
