I literally cannot imagine going to journalism school, getting a journalism job, clocking in, and writing a story that some people on Twitter didn't like a bad joke. The story breathlessly gets to... uh, dozens of people weren't entertained, and then, what's worse, the guy who wrote the joke had his feelings hurt?

Thoughts and prayers with everyone affected.
