Yeah thats basically my position, I think its a little better than a coinflip that he'd have done better, way less than that that it would have been enough to win, but am not super confident in either. But its fun to rile up voters.

True. Also true that it changes nothing about the post you quoted this portion from. The wall is impossible, will never happen completely, and any attempt to build such wall will result in an incomplete eyesore.

I'm with MEb in that this wall is going to be endless LOLs if we actually start building it. Tons of the BUILD THE WALL people just don't like immigrants and haven't thought past childlike concepts of how the actual, physical construction would play out. the wall seems like a waste of money but compared to what else trump can/will do it's probably fairly harmless.

it also seems popular. there's a reason clinton and obama voted for a fence or whatever it was. even my very liberal, university employed, (southern) aunt thinks there should be more control and a sense of order. just let trump have his wall and attack him if/when building it turns out to be a mess.

maybe it will even make people hate undocumented immigrants less if they're mostly thought of as visa overstays (or maybe it will make them want to burn down the visa system).
