I'm not even sure what his point is. Is he admitting the country is in despair and needs government help?

It's such a bad quote. "Hey remember when there was a crisis and we had to utilize all the levers of government to provide for its people and it lead to the most prosperous era in our history? Biden is trying to do that again, **** that guy!!"

So according to a new poll, 70% of republicans don't believe Biden won fairly. This is probably fine.

Did they? I don't recall anyone openly questioning the result so much as melting down over the future. You typically get a few symbolic challenges every 4 years when the JS counts the electoral votes, but I can't remember any serious momentum to the idea that Trump didn't win legitimately.

Yeah, the discourse was that Facebook, Russia, fake news etc helped him win and it was less legitimate that way, not that he didn't get more votes.

All the Hillary fans claimed afterwards that Trump actually didn't get more votes

Well, technically Hillary did get more votes so there was a bunch of "electoral college sucks" narratives as well.

The day after the election was called 76% of Hillary voters accepted that Trump was the legitimate president.

https://news.gallup.com/poll/197441/...president.aspx

It's hard to find polls from much later - the closest I could find was a May 2017 poll asking whether people thought Democrats (implying Dem politicians) had accepted the result as legitimate rather than asking if the voters themselves accepted it - presumably because it wasn't a significant enough talking point for pollsters to ask about.

I should've picked a better word than "legitimately"; I meant "got more votes.

Obviously there were issues about collusion, but thats an entirely different issue.

I can't remeber any new stories or anything about a serious challenge to the EC count (Hillary won the pop vote by 3 mil).

Republicans: Jews set California on fire with their space lasers and (((they))) control the banks

Democrats: Apartheid is so hot right now
