voting machines have been insecure since day 1. diebold was so bad at making voting machines that they needed to create a new company with a different name.
and yes, ofc, diebold was payed handsomely by the republican party and clearly had a ton of conflicts of interest.
fwiw, I actually worked at diebold back when a lot of this controversy was happening. man that company was a complete shtshow. just an awful place to work with all kinds of awful methods and ideas.
