UPDATE: Waiver setting was borked, is now fixed, Game Time is now when a player hits waivers.

This means that even though I would like to add FA Alfred Morris right this instant, I will not do so because that seems unfair.

There is a trade proposal in C League between Eddy and bus that includes sizable portions of team Free Agent Acquisition Budgets.

I do not have a problem with trades including FAABs as a trade-able asset.

Does anyone want to voice concern about that?

To make the trade work I have to manually adjust the budgets.

Basically bus will send like $90 of FAAB to Eddy and a player or two, get back good players. Obvious result is Eddy will dominate waivers whenever he wants (like, for example, obviously, this valuable week).

this trade itself shouldn't really matter in the decision to allow it or not. It should be a decision based on the theory of trading budgets in general

fwiw if there arent a ton of objections after this first game we're going to go ahead and push it through. we dont have time for you guys to not care and waivers are first thing in the morning

eddy, hoya and myself are fine with it

I guess I didn't even know we could do the whole FAAB thing. Would have been cool to discuss before the season started, but we're here now.

I dunno about pushing the trade through without majority of the league saying go though. that's sort of typcal practice. You get my ok vote anyway.

Well, it is, because you can now bid more than the theoretical $100 max, meaning you can acquire someone from waivers with no risk of being outbid.

Which he couldn't do if he was bidding for you.

Oh I never thought of that. Yeah no offence Bus, but that's a problem. I have no issue with reloading a FAAB back up to $100. But theoretical bids above $100 isn't how the league was set up or meant to play.

I don't think that's a very unreasonable observation either.
