Namath's autodraft was the first thing to ruin the league. The bad trade only compounded the first problem. So Hoya ultimately did what it took to keep the league competitive. And that's ballsy because he had to know you guys were gonna be all over him.
Fwiw if you replace Hoya and unwind trades, why not send Namath a better offer? You get your Julio, but maybe without being so savage with our man Namath's butthole? My trade didn't touch your players bus. I sent him what I had planned to send him last night for Brady.
I agree with the bolded. It appears to be an ongoing problem primarily with auction drafts. I had another draft scheduled last night, same problems, but here's the team I got auto drafted:
Granted that's a 10-team league, but that's obviously vastly better than the partial-birth abortion I got in C league. I'm not sure what is wrong with their algorithm or whatever the **** it's called but it's really dumb that AI can drive a car or whatever but still not know that I don't need two $20+ QBs or four TEs.
As for the trade itself, I maintain it isn't as lopsided as others have asserted. I've given my reasons already and I stand by them. Evaluating trades based solely on which players are swapped misses a chunk of data to analyze; in this case, it ignores the state of my team before and after the trade. Even though I may not be getting full value in return for Julio I'm still in a better spot post-trade than I was before. Now instead of a collection of WR3's and 4's I've got a mega WR1 and a bunch of WR8's to start. But whatever I'm off it.
