is everyone except me using 3 games of data to determine future production? Seems like they are, but isn't skill, opportunity, and the multiple years of data we have on lots of guys important too? Like, if we are just sorting by fantasy points through 3 games then yea Andrew Luck GOAT and Andrew Hawkins is more valuable than all kinds of other guys, but buy low and sell high is a profitable thing for a reason. I've been trying to sell low on some guys or buy high on others and it seems like no one is even interested in entertaining offers.

Heh, I kind of like Hawkins. 32 targets is 6th in the NFl for wideouts.

This is the exact reason I picked up Aaron Hernandez in all my leagues this week! He's bound to break out!

An important thing to consider is people usually value their own players higher than most; that's how they ended up with them in the first place, right?

Looking at rankings and projections helps a little, but is far from the bottom line when looking at a players value through the owners eyes.

Nice. You finally got to unload Mike Evans. I like Nozes side of this trade, but not terrible for either sides imo.

Now if only someone could smack the **** out of Larry Fitz to wake him up I would be feeling pretty good.

fwiw, I like noze's side too, but no one else was being very open with the dialogue and realistic proposals and I needed either a TE or a 2 for 1 as I stated itt a bunch of times.

The low # of trades and proposals is kinda annoying for how open the dialogue is and how much we all pay attention to the sport as opposed to drafting a team then spending 5 min on Sunday setting lineups.

Thomas side wins that trade by a good bit.

Larry Fitz is donezo. Third string

It pretty much came down to me not being a huge fan of moving Antonio Brown at all considering how beat up and/or inconsistent my WRs have been. Obviously Glennon to Evans is gonna blow the doors off the league.

He'll be doing some soul searching during the bye, come back rejuvenated.

Funny how things turn out though, spend $79 on ADP/Fitz, get garbage back. Spend $9 total on Ingram/Vinitieri/Olsen/Bennett/Ivory and get some pretty decent returns. lol fantasy

Funny how I paid $26 for Toby Gerhart and got exactly what you would expect out of a white RB.

Trades are necessary, even when they're not.

I needed a viable TE this week to beat you or I would slip to 1-3 and have a low point total. With 4 playoff teams this is basically a death sentence.

CDL: you're a numbers guy, so let's talk numbers.

It sounds to me like you're saying, you clearly lost this trade in order to increase your chances of winning this week (against the 2nd highest scoring team in the league), even if that means having a worse team from weeks 5 and up. (Are you going to trade Olsen when the Panthers have a bye week?)

And what percentage did your chances of winning this week increase by, with this trade?

went from 50/50 to 100% this week now that I have a player to start at TE and face a guy who thinks the numbers favor floating rate mortgages. Enjoy being 2-2 with me next week.

And no, I will not need to trade Olsen to work around the bye. I will have roster flexibility down the road as Moreno is closer to being healthy and Bishop Sankey's role in TEN will be more defined and he can either be dropped or played.

Also, when Olsen has a bye I will be able to compete with a lesser TE because JOSH GORDON will be back and putting up GOAT numbers.
