Rainey still put over 10.5 points, not like he was a total scrub despite the fumbles.

Woke up to these auction bids in C league:

Jordan Matthews went for $18 to Hoya (only other bid was me at 8)

I got Blount at 3 (and could have had him at 0)

Caldarooni spent $81 on Taliaferro (Shane 38, few others under 20)

Nah dog. Forsett is nothing but a change of pace back and I already have pierce. My rb are locked up now: Baltimore rb/brown/Bradshaw/Tate.

The coolest thing about it is that in this format you can start all three every week! I think that's the safest way to go

Sure he has the chance. Just seems a bit high for a guy who's literally played one game in his career. But for Ray Ray's video and Pierce's injury he'd be 4th on the depth chart, maybe even on the practice squad and no one would know his name.

It's a fine pickup don't get me wrong (I put a bid on him myself) but I can't see blowing 81% of my waiver budget on him. To each his own.

To be fair, he blew 99% of his budget on him (he had $82 left). But the $1 he kept for 9 more regular season waiver periods is $1 that Eddy doesn't have

Demaryius Thomas caught four passes for 31 yards in Sunday's Week 3 overtime loss at Seattle.

Advice: Thomas did salvage his day slightly with a tough, game-tying two-point conversion near the end of regulation. But he was off his game again, dropping a couple bubble screens and luckily avoiding a fumble on replay. He did see a lot of Richard Sherman, but was not shadowed by any stretch and struggled to get open against Byron Maxwell as well. The good news is that Thomas has the bye to get right and then gets plus matchups against the Cardinals, Jets and 49ers. He's a nice buy-low.

It's all about opportunity in the nfl. Ask Arian Foster. But really I bid so much bc I am protected with Pierce and am completely set at the other skill positions.

What's the difference? You are never winning anyone who matters for a buck.

Need an RB capable of starting this week. Have Montee Ball, Ryan Mathews (should be back week 7-8), and Ben Tate (should be fine next week after the bye this week) as RBs with some value going forward. Everyone on my roster is either hurt or on bye, so value for you would likely be in the future rather than an upgrade this week, unless you want to get Matt Ryan involved.

even in preseason they were pretty huge on this guy. by all accounts even before the rice fiasco he was going to be their likely starting rb in 15
