How did PPR ever get popular? Like, of all the meaningless things we could give out points for, how did catches just get a total pass?

Edit: Like, I was in a league that didn't use fractional scoring (i kno rite?) and explained to the guys that it's stupid because a player could run for 49 yards and catch for 49 yards and get 8 points while a guy that rushed for 98 yards gets 9. There are 3 stupid things there.

Yet, when you try to explain PPR to someone and say "So a WR catching a bubble screen and getting tackled at the LOS is worth 1 point??" they just say "Yeah, but WRs tho!" as if it's not equally stupid.

Also never understood why there was a huge variation in roster sizes.

If it's non-ppr: 3WR/2RB/1TE
If it's PPR: 2WR/2RB/1TE/1 W/R/T
If you're in a 10 team league with friends: 3WR/2RB/1TE/1Flex

Never ever go 2QB unless you hate FFB and want to troll your leaguemates.

You've had a good experience with it? I'd think it might be too shallow. With our Friends League (low stakes, high **** talking) we use the 3/2/1/1 to add a little depth but with 12 teams I'd think you'd be scraping the bottom of the talent barrel.
