I’d take him over the goof, the Spanish guy who is hurt (even if he was 100%) and devin. Ed seems stronger than all 3 of them. I would say he has a decent shot against nelson too only because nelson seems bad at strategy.

Agree with everyone who said it already that Kyle going to a team with only 2 guys seems insanely bad.

I can do without the calls home to family/friends. I know it’s to get to know the challengers better but it adds nothing for me.

Also, what was the deal with the white lines on the beams they were jumping to/from during the daily challenge? It seemed like half the jumps were from within the white line and another half landed within the white line. I assumed at first you had to be beyond them so the jumps were further apart, but I’m not sure anyone actually did that. It seems like you could easily walk across the beams if you stayed closer to the center then moved out on the last one to grab the cord.

I couldn't exactly tell, it looked like for every jump you had to have one foot outside the white line.

Pound for pound, Ed is a good challenger. But he’s just too small.

Maybe Ive given Devin too much credit for getting somewhat fit. Ed does probably beat him and the Goof.

If they insist on doing 90 minute episodes, the family calls are an improvement on what they usually are forced to air

What a frustrating episode to watch. The producers and the players are morons.

Either the producers need to design the daily competitions so that it's an even playing field (you either have to sit someone from your team to match the size of the other team, or the team with less players has the option to send someone twice), or the Player who wins in the Lair need to stop trading themselves to teams who just lost someone in the Lair (Kyle, Emy).

Geez, I wonder who's going to win a football game. The team with 3 tacklers or 2 rushers?

If you're Emy, why aren't you throwing Big T in so you can weaken the Ruby team on your way out? Why do you want to go to a team that now has one less girl? So dumb.

The Challenge seriously needs to hire like 2-3 people who have made a career out of designing challenges for Survivor. They just do such a better job of making challenges that are interesting and translate well to TV.

They also need to commit more airtime to the actual challenges. It felt like there was maybe 5 minutes of actual footage of the football/carry the money daily shown. Hell I think they spent more time explaining the rules than actually showing the event - yet somehow still failed to mention each offensive player can make only 1 run and if you go out of bounds your money is gone.

Boring. The last thing we need is more of anything.

Trying to think which if any of these foreign players will be back in future seasons. I find Emy annoying but she seems like the only one with enough screen presence to warrant a return. I've already forgotten most of the others who got eliminated already.

That definitely happened last week. Something about money bags, different bags had different amounts, had zero clue what was happening or who was winning. It just feels like they put so little thought into designing these challenges, then they try to make up for it with choppy editing that only makes it worse.

Yes, confusing fans into not knowing how close/exciting any game is continues to be a staple of the challenge franchise.

Winning the first two dailys once teams were formed were insanely valuable. It is insanely hard to overcome another team having one or two extra competitors in most of these dailys.

Goof should be pretty happy about the amount of power he has in the game right now, but he has run hot. The last few guys who won an elimination should have taken the goofs spot. He still isn't top 8ish in highest EV this year.
