I don't think all those people you think would split would actually do so.

Either way, that seems like so much to split.

natalie did well because that was a classic big brother challenge. stand on a wall for as long as possible. i forget how she did in the endurance comps on BB though. i dont think she actually won. victor was also really good at those and was on the same season as her. anyways i feel like you dont see that type of challenge on the challenge much, but its on bb/survivor all the time

id think being a cheerleader helps for that as well, having the ability to hold poses. nfl games take like 3 hours 15 min. cheerleaders have to stand up and look enthusiastic even when they arent dancing. so having that background probably helps natalie a lot here

also, obviously all partners have to promise each other they'd split. thats just basic game theory. that doesnt mean anything though. your 'strategy' should be to talk about it with your partner as much as possible and keep pumping them up about it and promising them you'll split, and basically try to make them feel as guilty as possible about the idea of not splitting. you want to make it as hard for them as you can. so just keep telling them how great it would be to split and win together etc., and especially about how it will look good after the show and in future challenges. just throw out everything you can think of. make them promise you. you just want them to feel guilty when the time comes

it really is a crazy amount of money. i feel like theres a decent chance someone would not split but give their partner 100k or something. they might as well just give them that option on the show. they could even do that game where Player A has to decide how to split up the money, and Player B can accept or reject it; and if they reject it neither player gets any money. They have done a lot of those experiments with like $10, and it would be really interesting to see that play out with such high stakes. i could see someone like ashley totally turning down 50k out of spite. so they should make some type of game like that out of it instead of just split or dont split

paulie's team is the favorite. About half way through the season it became obvious he is a pretty good competitor. Natelie definitely impressed me tonight, good for her.

Cara isn't that far behind imo, i am into Cara though. It's not even about the girl posted, it's a trend i've noticed for years & people always have lambasted me for pointing it out but yet it still remains true since the first time i've said anything.

a lot of people have averey as the hottest challenger. kelly anne and jamie chung also way up there in the consensus rankings

o ya, my other complaint is how easily the challenges are spoiled by the confessions they show. you could easily predict almost every elimination based on how they frame the confessions during it. which is really annoying, because it shifts the drama to analyzing the confessions instead of just watching and enjoying the challenge. for this one, it was so obvious.

plus the description of the episode spoiled it because it said “things get physical between Paulie and Cara Marie” or something, which hadn’t happened prior to the elimination. so obviously Paulie was gonna win. I feel like these challenges/eliminations could be so much more exciting if they made the confessions less obvious. or just didn’t show them in the middle

My biggest lock to take the milly and run would be Joss. He's trying to build a little empire and can't see him turning down the opportunity. And 0% Sylvia outperforms him in the final.

I could also see Ashley taking it all (if given the opportunity).

I'm not a fan of the winning team take all format. Joss and Silvia played great, won several challenges, and they have almost no chance to make any money because Silvia just can't compete with the other weak links on the other teams.

Silvia has puzzle equity and she is a favorite over marie in most athletics.

I think it’s far from a lock what joss would do. This is a super soft final. The last few teams to go out would probably be the favs if they got here, even zach would look strong if he made it. Minus killa kam and kaleigh

Yeah, I dunno why Sylvia can't compete with the likes of Marie, Natalie and Ashley in a final. Seems like anyone can win.

Don't think SE has a blonde bias either. You just have biases of your own towards the Emily's and Cara's Exo.

Most evenly matched final I can remember. Have to give the slight nod to Hunter-Ashley. Joss would be the favorite if it was an individual competition I think, just a matter of if/how much Sylvia will slow him down.

I think there's a good chance the final will be less physical than usual with all the mismatched teams.

Silvia and Marie will be huge liabilities if it's a traditional endurance focused final, although they have been moving away from that in the last couple of seasons so who knows

There is so much variance in so many challenges and eliminations I don't think it is that surprising. Plus who knows how many other challenges gave guy/girl teams a huge advantage besides the boulder push. In the bolder push they had to push boulders that weighted different depending on the combined weight of the teams and since basically one person can push the bolder at a time if you were hunter/bananas/joss who would you pick as your partner between ashley/tony/silvia? If you don't have it as ashley>>>>silvia>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>tony then you don't understand the rules. In fact I would put any girl who has ever appeared on the show before tony if I was an animal like JOSS the BOSS.
