Oh and earlier today I got through the No Quitters podcast from last week. Interesting hearing Shane talk about how sometimes the challenges can require a drive of 2+ hours. And that last week's challenge was reworked after they tested it out on a local and it ended badly, so had to be redone. Upon arrival they were told to leave, got halfway back to the house and were told to stop at some shack, hung out for a few hours awaiting further instruction, were told to go back to the house, then were instead redirected back to the (modified) challenge. Sounds pretty damned tedious. It also may help explain why that challenge in particular seemed kind of poorly thought out.

iirc a Thai woman was one of the guinea pigs and she broke her arm so they couldn't proceed with it as designed. Don't think he mentioned what changes were made but he probably doesn't know anyway since I don't think they were ever told what it was.

Of course, the final design which provided contestants the opportunity to hang themselves wasn't exactly fit for kids either.

Anyone with Shane > Fraaaannnnnkkkkkkkkkk is afflicted with some serious recency bias. Shane at least was stirring **** up about the game, Frank could take it anywhere once he let loose. He was really a huge loss to the Challenge, a rare combination to get someone that insane and a fairly decent competitor as well

Shane has too much self awareness to be >> frank but nevertheless has been incredible this season. He's low key pretty damn good at challenges and eliminations too. Plus he brought us the goat cookie elim which I'll have to find and post tonight.

He's bringing a lot of entertainment to an otherwise pretty boring and stale underdogs team. Sure some of them are pretty good competitors and I think they're going to ultimately be good for the challenge but they're just so dumb. Not to say someone like JOHN is smart but at least he had a bit of game theory early on.

Speaking of JOHN I found myself wishing he were still there while Shane was trolling around the club and house. He was really in hunters ass for what seemed like hours. Amazing stuff

From what I can gather I'd say John > ct at this point but will probably regret saying if or when vintage ct comes out

Would have loved to see someone like ABE over zach for the champs team. He woulda brought some amazing laughs. Then obv ROY for the underdog team.

Something small has indeed changed with camila but I can't put my finger on it. She's quite hot now. Seems to be a solid competitor too and not as annoying. I'm sure these things are connected though. Whatever she's done she needs to keep doing it

Also find myself rooting pretty hard for Darrell at this point. Guys the man and it's great they brought him back. All in all I think it's been a pretty STRONG season.

Random Thoughts:

- CT's heart isn't quite in it anymore, a kid probably calmed him down for the worse (Challenge speaking)

- TEEJ Bloodbath was amazing

- I want a Laurel-Nicole elimination, mainly to see Nicole eliminated

- Pretty cool challenge

- Shane stuff is entertaining but he's fairly low on the list from a historical standpoint in terms of house disruptors

Need a side by side of old Camila vs new Camila

Camila definitely my MVP of the season. Hope she wins somehow.
