All we're saying is that a decent amount of Challenge viewers probably knew of her death and after MTV broadcast it on air that a huge majority of viewers clearly know and that her portrayal is terrible.

half-grunch: got home late and tried to watch stumbling drunk and literally the only two things I remember thinking about the episode were 1) commander in chief of Wyoming and 2) lol at how shameless MTV is being about this, milking it for all it's worth like it's just another who-****ed-who cliffhanger.

imo the argument that MTV was airing this as if the audience doesn't know was always weaksauce, but it became 100% invalid the instant MTV started putting those "in remembrance of" notices up. Lol at showing Diem talking about all her future plans etc. It's a complete **** up.

So, the diaries (or commentaries) that the cast members give, are those filmed while the season is progressing or after it has wrapped? I always assumed it was after it has wrapped because they almost always look at least slightly different. The reason I ask is because Diem looks perfectly fine in her diaries. And we know from her social media updates that up until like late summer early fall that she was doing well. She was posting like fitness updates and was in great shape and then every thing spiraled incredibly fast. I don't know when they filmed but its entirely possible that the whole thing filmed/wrapped and was edited before Diem even got the news that it was back.

They're filmed on an ongoing basis during the shoot. They have a green screen room set up in the house or nearby and they have a set day where they bring in makeup and crap and just drill them with questions until they have what they need for everyone. With a cast this big I'm sure they're doing at least a few people every day. You want their thoughts while they're fresh.

Caught my first case of the olds last night and didn't make it until 10 pm. Was exhausted. Excited to catch up tonight.

I guess my take a little different but I thought it made them both look extremely likeable. Not fan how preview was shown though.

I thought she was just normal sick and not dying of cancer sick in that scene. no?

I mean even if it is they're still exploiting her death by making everyone wonder what's up with her illness. IS IT THE BIG ONE? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK!

You really think MTV doesn't know what they're doing showing that? Multiple people in this thread brought it up immediately. You can easily show an elimination and 2 minutes of partying without anyone noticing Diem wasn't around.

You clearly don't CHALLENGE like CDL does. Pause every scene to see who is missing.
