Not sure why laurel is so mad at cara maria. My best guess is that shes annoyed the cara is her only serious competition and also keeps playing the best friend card. she prob badly wants to eliminate her before the final but knows cara will take it super personally

This is definitely an opportune time for laurel to fall out with her since she now has an excuse to play the game optimally and ignore friendship. She's prob secretly happy about it since she's so competitive.

Either way i dont support laurel hate. Laurel is awesome.

cara has looked pretty good in competitions. looks like she's in the best shape since she's been on the show and is drawing live to beat laurel in a final. and if cara's not beating laurel, nobody is bc the other girls are pathetic.

what laurel gains is now they aren't best friends anymore and she has the freedom to nominate cara. frankly i got the vibe that cara cared way more about the best friendship anyway and laurel just wants to win.

She is crying in the spoiler for next week so she obviously cares about cara. I think you are right that she sees cara as her best competition and Laurel wants to play the game & then fix the friendship after. It is a tough spot IMO.

Imagine being at a final table w/ a friend who is the only other competent player at the table and only the top 3 get paid and it is semi-life changing money.

This may be true, but finals are simply about who has the best cardio and endurance. Can Zach maintain that drive over a two-day hellish course, esp. given that he's only seen 1 while Bananas and CT have seen damn near 15 at this point.
