Good elimination this week. Carnival game with physicality is a good recipe

So far in a few seasons I think I have counted a total of "literally" and one ATEOTD. I even heard Shavonne or someone use the word "nor" correctly in a recent ep.

As for this season, it's pretty good but still too much bloat. We need to just force ourselves to skip minutes 30-60 and risk missing something meaningful such as another "awesome" Josh meltdown.

Anyway, spent a little time on the reddit sub but don't post there. Seems like they're pretty rational but for Aneesa, who gets love almost universally. Why? Her "awesome elimination record"? She's never won a final and never will. Eliminations often favor size, such as hall brawl or the ones where they wrestle with each other. Conversely, size is usually a detriment in finals, which favor speed. She also has an unwarranted sense of entitlement, although to be fair she's hardly the only one, e.g. Nany.

It also seems like her opponents do a fantastic job of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, as Tori did last week. Although I'm not too sad about that. Tori got quite a villain edit which set up the outcome nicely.
She hoste the official challenge podcast and the people who post on the official challenge reddit are the exact same folks who would listen to that

Watching the old seasons on Netflix reminds me how much I miss old-school Abe and Derrick. Abe got a little too much in later seasons but was gold early in his career.

She did say “it sucks” and “I have to deal with something” to the camera after it was announced she had to go. I’m not saying it wasn’t a miscarriage but what she said was odd.

Not saying it's out of the question but miscarriages are way more common than I ever realized before starting to try to have kids.

When you get to 8 weeks from conception I think it's still like 10-15% of pregnancies that end in miscarriages.

Watching Inferno II and it's really amazing how much simpler and in a way how much better most of these daily challenges are. I feel like 90% of the current daily challenges need to involve something huge or insane, but honestly the ones like plugging water holes are a really good test of athleticism, endurance, and teamwork, and the current seasons would do better to have more challenges where there is clear strategy involved.

Just watched the rope pull challenge.

Even Landon looks roided out of his mind when he flexes

I guess what the hell is the point?

You're either right or you're wrong. If you're right, you're basically shaming a woman for ending a pregnancy that she didn't want to carry to term. If you're wrong, then you're making a false accusation against someone who just went through a super shitty time in her life.

I feel like it's different if the woman is super public and profiting off of it in bad faith. If it's just her personal business then it's not really worth commenting on even though she is D- tier famous.

some of my favorite dailies were from the first battle of the sexes

sit on a block of ice with your hands up
release yourself down a rope and try to stop it in the last 5 feet
the drill sargeant leading simon says
hang upside down over water using your legs

Ah. Thanks. Wasn't aware of that. Other than No Quitters (which isn't active this season) I don't listen to any podcasts on this show. Probably explains why she gets a pass when seemingly nobody else does.

Yeah, they really overdose on the cliches. I think that is probably just the social media era, they're all on that **** all day and they just hear these same 10-20 phrases over and over and over.

Kam did not look good with short hair, but I am team every woman looks better with long hair.

"Theresa plays DIRTY!" Obviously this was annoying to hear this episode, but I don't understand why her strategy isn't join the alliance of the rookie girls who are all pretty weak in hopes to get rid of everyone that has a chance to beat her in a final. It seems she may be moving in that direction, but she is probably going to screw it up by telling the veteran girls she is on their side.

It was filmed during corona, but evidently all the challengers had to pass tests before joining the show.

"i want a win so bad, i deserve a win blablabla"

***** YOU DIDNT EVEN PRETEND TO GRAB THE LOG AND STILL CAME DEAD LAST.

kinda wish the rest of the cast were smart and froze hers and fessys asses, thats a guaranteed 3rd place in a final. Even if they split, their endurance is ****.

Last but not least, kinda want to hate**** Amber. She's annoying but gives the "down to do nasty stuff" vibe.

You know one of the girls that plays DIRTY will steal fessy right before the final, but I like the way you are thinking.
