yep

69 minutes and change wins it, and that's with ~15 mins in penalties. 3k run and 4k run, no hills, climb down a ladder, eat stuff, stand on a platform. Horrible competition, pretty good drama.

terrible final. no interesting events.

ashley was never splitting. how did hunter let her outrun him.

great drama though. paulie and natalie ****ing over sylvia was the best. hunter is a total dbag but ashley sucks too. oh well.

**** Natalie. Disgusting that a clown like Ashley won. She’s awful. Hunter legit destroyed the toughest part, the eating contest. At least we didn’t have to wait through the reunion show to see the winner. I would punch that b in the face.

cara and marie were drawing dead the way they balanced that final

i skipped through most of it, but was it literally just two 4Ks, eating ****, and standing on a log for hours to earn a few minutes of penalty time? no puzzles? wtf

Shocked that they even made the finals.

Lol at calling her a slut.

Hunter, lol.

Joss and his partner wins if they stay on the stand. What a b natalie.

Would be sick to partner them again. I don’t know how she’s won multiple times.

Fitting end to a terrible season and a terrible final. Don't think there's ever been a final where I wasn't rooting for any of the finalists at all. I really can't wait for Paulie to cheat on Cara.

I respectfully disagree. If Natalie didn't do that, Joss & Sylvia would have won, and as annoying and entitled for no reason as I find Smashley (her teammates were the stronger competitors both times she won, and they weren't even the quickest team in this final), I still find Smashley >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sylvia.

The only better outcome would have been if Joss & Syliva won and Joss kept the money. Although I have grown to pretty much hate everyone on this show - bizarrely enough, other than CT the two I now find least objectionable are Zach and JOHN - Sylvia is the nut low. Fat, ugly, admits to being too lazy to workout, like 40% of the show's TH's are from her for some reason, and she almost always has a bitchy face in them. Her tears are so very delicious. The interviews shown before the reveal pretty clearly betrayed the outcome, and it's nice to see that a grenade actually made a meaningful difference.

Natalie looked fantastic tonight by the way. She may not be growing on me, but something was growing on me IF YOU CATCH MY DRIFT.

And lol @ Smashley's mental gymnastics to justify keeping the money. "Well you sometimes say mean things to me so I'm going to keep the whole million. That'll teach you." Whatever, I'm indifferent to Hunter and it's a good storyline going forward. One which just might end with Hunter killing Smashley.

That was the worst finale I've ever seen.

The final part of the challenge sucked, why wouldn't they make it more difficult? Ashley taking the money is definitely the best part of the final, beyond savage.

Btw, is this the SJW era of challenges, where women are beating men, no physical eliminations & easy as hell finals, if it is i'm done watching.

Called the exact order.

Final was the WOAT. Even if they didn’t assign time for most plates consumed in the eating challenge (which is ridiculous) I don’t see how hunter let her beat him. One of the other challengers said something about having to touch the last rung on the ladder so maybe hunter got penalized for falling.

Lol at Ashley for saying she took the money because hunter was mean to her. She splits with exactly 0% of people in the world.

This is what I don’t understand. Knowing she wasn’t going to split with him, Hunter should have put more effort into beating her.

Smashleys reaction is super bogus, but I would never split the money unless I was partnered with one of my ride or die friends.

I'd probably give my partner like 100k under the table or something.

Worst final I can remember. How was there no puzzle?

It's probably hard to run after you just ate 30 plates of pig nose and worms!

I'm assuming MTV judges didn't give Hunter any individual credit for the eating challenge part?

yeah just randomly pick which of the contests help with time combined and separately. if the eating contest was weighed towards who ate most of the plates, ashley probably comes in 15 minutes behind hunter. the rules are dumb and the final challenge as a whole was pretty dumb.

This is entirely the product of some teams being guy-guy while others are girl-girl and others are mixed. Go back to separate guys and girls competitions and get rid of the redemption house and 80% of the current issues with this show get solved.

no matter what the situation is with teams you're always going to get teams that are stacked and teams with no shot. even with no teams, there are a number of "competitors" who start every season without a real shot. it's just a fact that they keep around certain characters who are incapable of being competitive but are interesting TV.

i did like the drama with the teams especially the up and downs with cara and marie.

but they need to make the competitions more fair. they need to stop dragging things out.

Yup, or if they gave both teammates 16 plates to finish and your individual time stops after you finish -- but the team time keeps going until both finish. That way it makes sense because it's exactly like the running portion?!?

Overall, this was the worst final I've ever watch. Trashly has quit, or threatened to quit, how many Challenges in the past? Meanwhile, Hunter has played with broken hands, in the past, and just fell out of a freakin helicopter -- and still managed to carry Trashly through the only difficult part of the final (eating).

MTV rigging it for her to win is the absolute nut-low. Especially knowing good and well that she's never sharing the $.

I forgot this happened. Umm, how did MTV allow that to happen? The safety harness was terrible and somebody could've easily have either been seriously injured or worse from a fall like that. I assume that these guys all sign wavers before entering the final challenge but legally, let's say he had a serious injury, could he of sued even after signing wavers?

No clue. Hunter was very lucky, obviously. If he lands on his head/neck, he's either dead or never walking again.

I'm no legal expert, but I doubt a signed waiver allows you (MTV) to act with gross negligence.
