This is a transition period. while we still have original challengers. now we're moving into a world of all are you the one kids and big brother rejects.

the new cast members just dont jive with the challenge of old. production cant seem to figure it out. i think champs/stars delivered tho fwiw.

people who want more focus on challenges? are you on drugs? these challenges are stupid as hell with the mismatched teams. we need less focus on challenges and more focus on "the game". that is how Survivor has lasted on primetime television for 20 years. this season nailed a good format, but it's almost irrelevant because the teams are wildly unfair.

I think "the game" will give us some good moments this season because it really is a great format. a challenge will deliver if they do gross food or trivia or spelling. anything athletic is a sham. with a couple of decent unexpected moments, this season could deliver. but the frontloading of this season doesnt leave me with much optimism

Agree, shifting more to a Real World type reality show.

Something I do appreciate about this evolution is people like Bananas aren't untouchable due to massive alliances in the house. It's a much more level playing field and politics increase the balance of what's needed to win.

I know I shouldn't be shocked when people on this show make horrible decisions, but I was shocked. Only seeing the ramps w/ the ropes and not knowing what is expected i was thinking they were 95+% against angela/faith and maybe 40% against joss/sylvia.

If you are on kam's team & you know she will vote your way you wouldn't finish in hopes of a team finishing first on the other team that hates you less. You wouldn't be creating enemies as nobody from your team should care unless kam has their back and in that case if kam hates you and has their back then they already likely hate you too.

The downside to this is that you look smart (in comparison with your cast mates) and could create a target on your back, but that is why you fake a pulled hammy so it doesn't look like you are intentionally throwing it. You could even slowly crawl (while yelling wildly) to make it look like you have heart.

I can't believe people fell for that ****. I'm not sure if that says more about them or her. Are they stupid and couldn't see through her bull**** or did they actually think she was dumb/narcissistic enough to turn her back on the only people who have her back in a public way that was extremely unnecessary.

I'm still waiting for when they will stop sending in bad teams for a competition that is about winner takes all. I'd want to keep all the bad teams in and only call out good teams, i know at some point it's going to be about that but i wish we could fast forward through the slow pacing.

Tori with one move lost any credibility she had as a viable competitor. Derrick is a classic underachieving loser and you pick him to basically matchup with Joss who looks like a bag of poppables on roids. Yea real ****ing genius. I guess dating half hand has rubbed off on her in the wrong way.

I actually want Paulie back in the house to shake **** up. Bananas is laying very low this season and guess what these dumb ****s going to let him get away with it.
