I hate how it took the entire episode to get to the challenge, which should've happened from the prior episode, the pacing felt like i was watching onepiece. With that said, the twist that the guys who get sent into elimination get to pick from the list of people who said their name to compete against is absolutely amazing & one of the best twist they've implemented to the challenge.

Two weeks for challenge through elimination is definitely too long.

However I'm definitely a fan of the voting format. The politics are going to be top-notch with high backstabbing potential.

yes. if you watch closely, you see that the bands of paulie are "folded" twice, while kams are only "folded" once. so he has double the tension as well as a shorter band. quite unfair.

I’ll assume that’s to make the girls teams, mixed teams and all guys teams competitively more fair. Would have been nice if they explained that. This makes the guys teams and mixed much less a favorite in this. This competition truly blew for Paulie since he isn’t built for strength and more for speed.

I came here to post how unequal the bands were. Kam also had enough slack where it appeared that she could stand within a yard or two of the cage with little to no tension.

Either way Kam is by far the most annoying person in the house. I know I got a lot of disagreement ITT when I said she was in my top 3 of most annoying non-star challengers ever, but this episode solidified it for me.

She was so cocky after the elimination - talking **** to the other team after you win is pretty crappy. She also contributed almost nothing to her team's win since her bands were so loose she literally just walked over to pick up the puzzle pieces and proceeded to walk them over to the cage to give to her teammate to put the puzzle together.

Her worst offense this episode was how overly dramatic she was about TJ's twist... I had flash backs of hennessy.

Women actually like Hennesy & her sister Cardi-B personality & some like Cam now tries to emulate them & it's so annoying. The thing with Cam is that she actually does well on the challenges so i can't call her that annoying, she isn't exactly dead weight like Jemmye or Veronica who is just fat, ugly & serve no purpose on the show.

she is undefeated (4-0) in eliminations... and she has reminded us 25 times.

She defeated an undersized tori when they fought to see who could rip a metal figure 8 from the other person.

She won in a tug of war against smashley who is about half her size.

She climbed across 2 ropes quicker than natalie for her 3rd win.

And her 4th win was being on a team when her teammate kayleigh beat natalie in a puzzle where kam & kayleigh were given a big advantage that allowed kayleigh to get the puzzle pieces quiker than natalie and the bands theoretically allowed kam to have a close up second view of the puzzle which paulie couldn't really do.

I agree kam likely isn't dead weight like jemmye, but it is undecided if she is in the top half of female competitors. If I could pick my female partner in this house I have Tori, natalie, kailah, kayleigh, jenna & cara maria above kam with melissa, anglea, amanda & britini as equals.

i find kam highly annoying, but i think she's clearly one of the top female competitors (not that this is tough to achieve). physically, strength wise, she should be #2 behind cara maria. did she ever have an endurance challenge?
kailah is overrated, tori is not bad... but also not really that great (she's also overestimating herself by quite a lot), natalie is quite useless, kayleigh who knows...

I wish they stopped rigging eliminations for Kam so we could find out. She wouldn't have been talking trash if she got Laurel instead of Ashley, and she wouldn't have been talking trash in this one if she had the same tension as Paulie.

this method of sending people into elimination is truly the best idea they've had in the TJ era

with all guy+girl teams so you can have balanced elims and no redemption house it would be a lock for the best season since rivals 1 and possibly more despite the slow pace and excessive number of insufferables

rewatched the elim to see how absurd it was. at the end kam was casually chillin by the cage and paulie was busting ass to get within five feet of it

kam is a terrible addition to the show, stfu youve done nothing

With the new twist to the elimination it will make for a really interesting strategy throughout the season. It's also winner takes all so they can't just save strong teams like Johny & Tony just because you're afraid they will send you in because if you don't get them out then you will not win the million, that makes it so fascinating. I think for the next few episodes we will see the weaker teams get sent in & towards the end they will realize that they need to make it a priority to send in the stronger ones.

Love the voting and elimination format this season. Pretty sure the weakest teams voted in every time moving forward(outside of CT's team, they will be saved for finals as they are lock for 3rd.)

Regarding the bands, yes it was super unfair for pauly. However I do think cam is 1 of the bigger/stronger girls and paulie is 1 of the smaller guys. If it was CT vs skinny amanda, CT gets them easier than amanda I bet. But that challenge was heavily favored for the girls, should of had paulie doing puzzles.

of course if everyone starts doing that then you have to be on level two etc and we could see some really random teams go in

I think 3-4 teams will figure this out before the next elimination and the rest will figure it out after 2-3 more eliminations, but I have overestimated how smart these people are before.

Marie's strategy of voting for herself could have actually saved them from a possible elimination.

Voting for yourself does mean that if another team goes in you can't get picked hahahha, this new element to the eliminations makes for some interesting stratgeies to employ, so ingenius, i can't believe this is the first time they have ever introduced this.
