The 2nd one isn't even true. Byrd and Tony Weeks had Garcia 29-28. That fight won Robbery of the Year for 2010.

The 3rd one is, every media card and the other 2 judges had that fight 30-27 Varner.

Spoiler: Boxing is corrupt.

Doesn't matter what her record was before. Maybe this was the fight she cashed in, got $10 mil under the table.

Yeah those two were pretty bad. Not as bad as 118-110 Canelo, but still bad. I guess if you judge over 400 fights, having a few bad ones is not unusual. But this one was abominable. Won't be enough to get her fired like CJ Ross.

If people really wanted better judging, they'd have the judges sequestered in separate rooms where they can watch the fight on TV with video only. That way, the commentary and crowd doesn't influence the decision and they get a better view of what's going on.

Oh yeah Teddy Atlas probably still won't have GGG in his top 10 p4p. That's a guy that needs to be put out to pasture.

Man Canelo's trainer said the right thing at just the right time. Good work by him.

Bob Bennett (NSAC) claims he will sit down with Byrd to go over each round and see why/how she scored it.

I think my favorite part is Canelo saying he won 7-8 rounds post fight and Byrd giving him 2 more.

I struggle to find 6 rounds for Canelo (maybe it can be done), but 10?

I had Golovkin the clear winner.

I cringe everytime i hear Byrd is a judge. Ever since that Calzaghe-Hopkins fight she must be either emotionally involved or a ****ing moron that don't know how to score a fight.

Why do these things happen so often when Oscar is heavily involved?

Canelo - We can do it again, not sure if May or September.

I rewatched the fight and I think a 6-6 split draw is eminently reasonable if you go round-by-round and take the emotion out. 7-5 Canelo is skirting with the edges of insanity and non-believability. And 10-2 is grounds for being fired into the ****ing sun.

It speaks to how sad boxing is that people are willing to call a draw reasonable.

Gotta love the "boxing is rigged" crowd. 1 of 3 professional judges gives GGG the win where it's 7 to 5 rounds (meaning a super close fight), YET HE STILL GOT ROBBED. jesus Christ these people are stupid. The fight was super close. A draw feels about right.

I think a draw is a bad result, but it is reasonable how judges can end up there. If they end up giving a couple of rounds that were 55/45 GGG to Canelo, it can happen. There must not be gross incompetence or corruption involved like with a Canelo nod.

I didn't find this fight that tough to score. I had GGG 8 rounds, but i gave him the first which seems like the official judges did not.

Cruizn, no one in this thread has balked at the draw result. It's the 118-110 that's unacceptable to most.

Says the Mexican. It was close don’t get me wrong. However scoring that 10-2 is sooo bad
