I'm here for the Rungisvai vs Chocolatito rematch, it promises to be exciting.
Lol at the announcer mixing up the result on the preliminary fight.

Cuadras* **** my bad.

I thought Cuadras was going to win pre fight with movement and the jab. I'm calling Roman by KO now though, he almost had him several times in fight one (and won imo), I think he'll be especially motivated tonight, even though he's fighting at least two weight classes above optimal.

Wonder if Inoue is better than Lomachenko. He'll have to fight a guy like Gonzalez for us to find out.

Nieves might not last through the third.

I doubt it right now. But if Roman wins convincingly tonight we may see Inoue challenged by a worthy opponent soon.

Inoue hits like a monster. Hard to compare him to another fighter, but his power reminds me of Kovalev for the weight.

That might have been a 10-8 round.

Nieves is coming off a loss, not a great opponent here to see what Inoue really has. He apparently works full time at PNC bank. Jesus.

Inoue is a mini-GGG. I mean he practically let Nieves hit him and it did nothing.

This Inoue guy is legit , I had never seen him fight before.

It's dangerous to have these types of matchups when one side is a very powerful puncher and the other isn't even a full time professional boxer.

I think it's a consequence of boxing's obsession with moving people up slowly with very little risk and trying to keep a perfect record. In some other fighting sports Inoue would've fought Roman in like fight 8, and if he ended up 10-4 at this point it would be no big deal, he'd just keep getting matched with fighters more to his skill level.

It's a shame bc you could definitely build up competitive fights and skill as your MO, rather than personalities that fight 3-4 cans for every legit opponent, as their promoters try to stretch every mile of promotional from the fighter.

I watched some of his fights on YouTube. His power is incredible for 115. Watch his fight against Omar Andres Narvaez. Narvaez had only lost one fight in 46 pro fights and that was when he jumped up to bantamweight to fight Donaire (and he went the distance against Donaire without getting knocked down). Otherwise he had defended his super flyweight title 11 times before losing in the 2nd round to a fighter with 7 professional fights.

I think chocolatito cruises to 116-112 here.

Gonzalez seems too concerned about headbutts. That's bad news for him if it makes him tentative in the ring.

He lost that first round.

I think Roman will really go for the kill if he stuns him and he'll finish it then. Not an eventful round 1, Roman down 1 now, but I anticipate this to pick up soon enough.

Sor Rungvisai is hitting really hard to start this fight though, guy has some real power in those gloves.

Gonzalez not himself in there. Think his confidence is shot since that loss.

Roman looks a little less steady on his feet, but he also landed some good power shots that round. HBO guys are getting set on one storyline as they so often do though.

If Sor Rungvisai wins this convincingly, does it get him into the top 10 p4p rankings?

Okay, that was unbelievable.

Guy has to be top 10 p4p after that. Beat a top 5 (some argue #1) p4p fighter back-to-back and you deserve it imo

Well I was right about Rungisvai winning only 4 rounds.

Chocolatito should have survived the fourth round instead of exchanging. He lacked some self control there.

I don't think so, he's so much larger than Roman.

I mean, if he can convincingly beat Estrada or Inoue then I think I agree with you, but 2 fights (the first one most thought Roman won too) vs a guy who clearly is a few classes above his prime rate, it's not enough to be top 10 p4p in my book.

2nd fight so dominant though.
