found some bloke's youtube channel, he's uploaded tons of old fights plus had included loads of pre and post fight interviews/weigh ins/shenanigans which helps place the fights in their proper historical context. been going through some tyson stuff myself

I had Jacobs winning 1 and 2 but GGG winning 12 I think and I had the opposite of ledermans card on 7 and 8 off top of my head with one guy winning each

There is a account called Rummy's Boxing or something on youtube that has history of the heavyweight division in the 1990's, it's like 90 mins long. Was really good.

Given what NFL/NBA players make these days and what boxers make, I think it is safe to say the HW division is never really coming back in a major way.

Recall giving GGG the 12th after having Jacobs up 6-5.

america will prolly not dominate the division due to that

otoh big lads in the rest of the world dont have much shot at an nfl/nba career, and rugby doesn't pay that well. meanwhile anthony joshua has a legit shot at ending up a billionaire if he can win his next 25 odd fights

when a B level HW like tony bellew can fight a washed up david haye and they take home about $5m each, the division aint dead

I remember thinking that the fight between GGG/Jacobs was pretty close but thinking that GGG did enough to pull it out.

I kind of wondered if he sandbagged the fight to make himself look vulnerable in order to draw in people running from him. But I doubt that he'd let it go the distance if that was the case.

Watching Jacobs do that well against GGG and Dmitry Pirog absolutely owning Jacobs makes me wonder how Pirog would do against GGG if a back injury didn't end his career.

Sandbagged may be strong language but his trainer alludes to the fact that if he KO'd Jacobs, then he probably isn't fighting Canelo this weekend.

TripleG talkin some smack too.

I don't believe that for a second it doesn't pass the smell test . On another night he could have easily lost that fight so if he actually eased up in that fight on purpose he is dumb as hell

Anyway this chocolatito card tonight is gonna be sick can't wait

No American tv but free stream of usyk huck on the world boxing super series website you just have to register an account. Idk **** about the undercard but it's about to start and main event should be around 5 ET and will likely be a pretty good fight

Usyk should win pretty convincingly. Huck is done for.

The site I use doesn't have a feed up yet. Probably won't pop up until shortly before the main event.

I suspect huck is done too but I'm not as sold on usyk as most people so I think it could be interesting

The site I normally use is showing a feed of K1 boxing instead of the fight undercard. I guess Sat.1 is only going to show the main fight.

Seems that Huck would get the decision in a close fight that goes the distance given that this is Germany.

In other boxing, I saw Margarito's last fight. Made me feel bad for his opponent. Margarito was on his way out, quit on his stool, but because he claimed it was due to his eye, it went to a technical decision that he inexplicably won.

---------

Germans love a spectacle as much as Americans given these ring walks.

Huck looks super slow. Usyk outboxed him for practically every second of that round.

Just me and mutigers watching?

Got it 1-1. But the end of the second does not bode well for Huck.

2-1 looked like Usyk was almost toying with him at the end when he hurt Huck.

Did Huck **** talk Usyk or something? Huck looks like he's about to fall every time Usyk hits him but Usyk never goes after him.

Usyk won every round but 2 imo

Lol, Huck shoved him during a press conference, Usyk smirked and nodded.

Usyk just torturing Huck. Huck is a dead man walking and Usyk refuses to finish him.

Ref saves Huck from himself.

Shocking how pro-Usyk the crowd is in Germany.
