Yep Hearn's co promoting that event I believe (part of the terms for the Indongo Burns fight was Hearn secured a promotion deal for Indongo if he won).
Fantastic. Fool me once etc but boxing seems like it might be turning a corner somewhat . I've been ****ting on the pac horn promotion from ESPN but Andre Ward did the rounds today on all the shows and apparently there is a special prime time first take tonight pumping up the fight . The fight itself is bad obv but they are pulling out all the stops at least before the fight now trying to build an audience. They were talking about ggg canelo on first take for a bit at least too . I never watch but I'm hungover and it beats studying for the bar sue me
Yeah, I read something about the effort they were putting out for it. They are really wanting to set up the peripheral coverage for boxing, so that's exciting if they can manage that.
ESPN is jumping on boxing now since HBO and PBC can't get their **** together.
Might pay off well if they can get a few good fights there.
Pac and Loma fights are going to be super-boring. But Crawford/Indongo will be a really good fight. I think Crawford wins pretty convincingly but Indongo isn't going to be all that easy for Bud.
