Should go without saying that two leg Haye absolutely destroys Bellend.

Will have to watch Thurman/Garcia on replay.

Haye didnt have the stamina to win the fight. The injury is not a completely random event, its also product of an old guy fighting for more than 5 rounds for the first time in years.

Sure. Injury is more likely as you age. Sergio Martinez was a great example of that in his last fight.

Bellend was all over the place and out of gas trying to finish a guy with one leg. Haye wins if he had two working legs. But once one went, he fought on because he knew it was his last fight. A prospect in his mid 20s has a career to think about after all. A 36 year old who has barely fought over the last few years doesn't.

Wow, didn't expect anything like that. Entertaining tho.

Haye's body is broken, he looks injury prone now. So desperate for the rematch

He shouldn't fight again. But we know he'll get another crack at Bellew.

Haye Bellew was even more of a circus than I expected. Both of those guys would get knocked out by a small child if they had to fight in a narrow hallway.

Haye isn't done, he'll cash in on the rematch minimum. If he wins the rematch, you could get a 3rd fight, or Haye could parlay that into something like a Wilder or Joshua fight as his final cashout.

Props to Thurman outboxing Garcia. He came out a little stronger than I anticipated and he stung Garcia a couple of times. Danny was a step too slow and not active enough all night. I thought 116-112 was pretty fair.

That haye/Bellew fight was a massive joke.

Hate looked like he was having a scrap outside the pub after 10 pints from the opening bell, hands down/timing completely off/loading up with every punch. Both fighters gassed after 6 rounds, which was no real surprise with Haye but Bellew? He was supposed to have a decent tank. Bellew doesn't look like he has any real knockout power behind any of his punches in the heavyweight division. Bellew needs to drop back down and Haye back in the commentary box.

Pretty certain that the fight was rigged - Haye injured and couldn't win. Bellew wins in the 11th round - so the punters still got their action, even though Haye was there for the taking. Second fight is now a guarantee, another £5m for Haye, £3m for Bellew.

Complete farce.

Last night still pi$$es me right off ... im going to be grumpy all ****** day now

WTF was Haye doing in the first 4 rounds ? and how the fek Sky can completely ignore Haye's injury is utterly beyond me.

Im a big Haye fan ... but last night something was not right, i also dont like the fact Haye was way too magnanimous in defeat and virtually begging for a rematch.

Haye must have come into this fight with a injury and knew it might only hold out for a few rounds, that would go some way in explaining his awful start to the fight.

Yet another farcical Matchroom PPV event.

Fights among the elite of the elite often are. Nobody wants to take a chance when they know how good their opponent is at capitalizing on mistimed aggression.

Thurman Garcia fight was most likely to be that way if you follow both fighters. Garcia doesn't push things against equal competition, he fights a slightly conservative, counter punching type fight in those cases. And Thurman will take what you give him, in this case it was bound to be a more boxing focused match without consistent action. I was actually surprised Thurman came out as aggressive as he did, otherwise the fight went as expected.

Haye was injured going into last night's fight. He went to Munich before the fight and reports emerged that it was for an achilles injury. It's no coincidence that it was his achilles that he badly messed up halfway through the fight.

Haye denied the injury at the time bc he knew if he pulled out of yet another big fight he wouldn't likely get another big chance. It was better to fight injured. He looked like **** though. The drunken pub comment from partywme is pure gold (and accurate).

Bellew-Wilder would be amazing, I so hope that happens.
