To be fair, it's not like Loma has fought the best guys either (yet), but he's got a much more exciting style than Bud is showing presently. Though in fairness, he's also way better defensively.

We need someone with the ability to control the ring to keep Crawford from moving (as much as one can) and force him to showcase both offense and defense. Whomever can do that will give us a good fight.

Freddy Roach now being fairly vocal about not wanting Crawford. Also, I've seen that Manny wants to come back at 140, which makes sense for his body type, but that reads oddly.

That was a quality fight.

I have just looked at Mendez's record, looks like he has been in with some good fighters. I am surprised that Campbell has agreed to fight him.

I know the Hearns are good at, er, selecting appropriate opponents, but at some point he'll get put in with someone good, unless he loses to someone not good, and if he does he'll get destroyed.

You got to remember it's only 3 years ago Crolla was losing in Prizefighter, he's now on the verge of effectively becoming the number one in the division.

I'd say there's a reasonable chance Campbell would outpoint both Crolla and Flanagan.
