I know it's not gonna happen, but I'd like to see Herrera knock this guy out.
If not that, then win a razor-thin decision. He needs a break.

Hererra looks frustrated already. Not a lot working for him and Gomez is pot shotting him at all different angles and throwing a few quick combos.
I think if he keeps pursuing he can wear Gomez down, but he really needs to keep up the pressure and get some good jabs in there, try to win a round or two soon.

Yeah. One more UC fight after the Herrera/Gomez fight
Prob gg Herrera. He doesn't have fight-changing power if he gets behind on the cards.

Herrera looks demoralized. Nothing's working for him.

Lemieux is such a one-dimensional fighter but it is one hell of a dimension.

Tapia looks a little out of his element here. Not as bad as Herrera, but same ballpark.

It's like his elbows can't straighten. Hooks only.

Wow. Never see a trainer stop a fight too early.

Seems a little protective for boxing, but whatever, Tapia hadn't let his hands go for 9 minutes, it's on him that this was stopped.

Tapia definitely seemed a bit sluggish. If he had any hand speed, he'd have a great chance. But imo he was hesitant to throw because Lemieux's counterpunching.

Lampley making a good point on the same ring-day weight, wish Golovkin had a more elegant command of the english language and could really drive that home.

GGG didn't even understand what he said. Hence the stumbling answer that didn't even connect with what Jim stated.

What's the bar for Canelo having a good performance tonight? I'd say winning 10 rounds, over that and he's had a good night, under that and he's underperformed. Stoppage is obviously best.

If the fight goes the distance, Canelo will run for the hills to get away from GGG.
This is supposed to be a slam dunk KO win for Canelo. Without that, he should stay far away from him.

On an unrelated note, the Roberto Duran movie looks horrible.

Haha neither fighter stepped on the unofficial scale tonight. That **** should be mandatory.

Close round. Giving it to Khan since Amir avoided any major damage and did quite well offensively.
