Manny was never shocked or stunned or on the verge of being knocked down vs cotto. That's what shocked/impressed me most of that fight. Cotto threw some bombs early and headsnapping punches, but Pacquiao reacted far better than I expected to them.
However, Floyd will be hitting Cotto in a different way than Cotto did which could change how Pacquiao reacts to the punches. Floyd will be throwing counters which Pacquiao can't see (what you can't see hurts you much more)...Also, I think because of the significance of this fight, Floyd will let his hands go (despite them being brittle) when need be in order to take care of business.
It's all on Floyd though. If he is willing to exchange, this could be an all time great fight (action-wise) nevertheless legacy/financial wise.
