god damn

it seems a bit unfair that along with all of his other advantages golovkin is also impervious to pain

What is it with Europe and early stoppages?

Twas a good fight. Even if Murray wasn't going to win, fact is that his courage has made me a fan of his.

The only comparisons I can see between Golovkin and "prime" Tyson is that they both have fought a lot of bums.

Who should he fight next in your opinion that he would get credit for being really ****in good

Fair play to Murray ... took his punishment and fought back as much as he could ..excellent performance.

But GGG is bloody relentless .

Meh. Murray fought back from imminent defeat a couple of times in that fight, but he wasn't given a chance there. He was game for it.

Come on guys. Don't feed the trolls. BD has <10 posts and he's clearly trying to rile us up with some posting that belongs in Boxing Scene not on 2p2

Froch, Mayweather or Kolavev.

And Golvkin is really ****in good, he just isn't the GOAT.

Neither was Tyson . I think you might be ascribing words that no one ever said. I mean I would like to see him v Froch or kovalev but Kovalev is a lot bigger . I actually think that fight will happen someday and will be huge tho. Mayweather is way too small that will never happen. I think he wrecks Froch but hey maybe I'm wrong

And I forgot about Ward - easy to do because he never fights - but now that Ward is with Rocnation, hopefully they can negotiate a fight with Golovkin.

prob a bit of hyperbole esp since a lot of casuals have no idea who ward even is but ward-ggg is the next logical megafight in my eyes. or at least should be a megafight but probably won't be.

that fight would be absurdly good but from what i read we aren't particularly close to it

I guess GGG could fight Quillin but I think Quillin is supremely overrated and has ****ed up his career by not fighting elite fighters and getting his name out there as much as it should be. I don't rate Quillin as high as most but I have been embarrassingly wrong before.

also canelo could happen v GGG he is a lot bigger dude than his weight and he fights everyone. that would be a sick fight

I guess JCC Jr. just called out GGG LOL. I'm not huge on snuff porn but I think I would be pretty happy watching JCC die in the ring.

GGG ain't dropping JCC Jr.

Gonna be a shutout decision if they do fight. GGG might even get in a rare 10-8 round.

GGG says he wants Cotto. Cotto definitely doesn't want GGG. TBH, I think Murray did better against GGG than Cotto would.

Maybe GGG should fight Klitschko. It looked like GGG was having trouble catching his breath early in the fight after taking some body shots from Murray. If body shots bother him Coto as trained by Roach would certainly put that weakness to the test. Coto vs GGG is the right sports matchup. Trouble is, this is the business of boxing.

Murray is pretty durable and he's bigger than GGG, but GGG got it done.

It was interesting to see GGG fire those hooks around Murray's guard to get some to land. Saw a couple punches travel downwards diagonally.
