???

I think its really strange that someone of his ability doesn't have that killer instinct where he wants to crush people. Its probably better for his chances to win each fight by taking a conservative approach. It is weird though. Virtually everyone else much rather take the KO, but Mayweather seems to be sated with wins rather than KOs.

Do you think PBF will back off the random Olympic blood testing or Pac will agree to it?

Wonder if the contract battle/preliminary fights were all set up to build hype for Pac/Money epic fight

I think conservative in the later rounds when you got the fight looked up is the optimal strategy, but it does not really appeal to the fans.

????? Everyone already knows this about him. Every chance he gets, he says he is out there to get his $$$$$$$$$$ and is not going to be an idiot who gets f****ed up and ends up like Ali just cuz fans want to see blood. Guess he applies that some philosophy to his opponents as well, though to get the KO he would have to take more punches so it may just be about him not wanting to take unnecessary punches and not really about "respect" for Mosley.

Pacman clearly doesn't want any of this, especially if he can't roid up. Who would?

I agree as well. But I think being a professional fighter without that desire I described as "warrior spirit" is just... weird. Almost every other fighter attempts to finish but PBF doesn't. Whether you want to call it classy, intelligent, pussy, lame or whatever. Its simply a trait that might be unique at his level of achievement.

Last time I checked you can't get hit by a guy who's sitting.

I don't know why I bothered reading your post after seeing your avatar.

Not like I should have expected anything better.

I think these fights and the contract battles are schemes to build the hype for the superfight. It's going to happen. It has to happen for the sake of the sport. Pac and PBF are miles ahead of everybody else and the sport has to have a concrete #1 of the two fighters.

Agreed. Do we really have to requote the 'pac then/pac now' images?
