Rubio wanted no part of him after feeling his power. Pretty obvious on how slow he got up. You don't lay out on your back like that, then struggle to your feet and show energy only AFTER you're counted out unless you've felt something you don't want to feel again.

The only other explanation is that he was just that hurt he couldn't beat the count. Either way though...

Rubio felt that GGG power and decided to stay down.

Shame that I closed my feed before the post-fight interviews. Did GGG speak Spanish to Rubio lol? Awesome

The one thing that I gleaned from this fight is that GGG's Spanish is better than his English

He has a limited range of english words to work with:

respect
fighter
good boy
mexican style
i like to fight
dance

I'm not sure there are too many more words in his arsenal. He also knows locations, like California. I think he might've said StubHub, but maybe not.

Khan Alexander and Rosado Lemieux.

Alright, that works.

Khan wins he gets Floyd, if Alexander wins... he prolly gets Thurman lol.

Rosado is a model fighter, just fights the best available always.

Also, Andrade vs one of the Charlos (does it matter? They are both good, quick boxers... with like one letter difference on the first name...), that's solid.

George Groves now added to the Bellew/Clev undercard. He'll be fighting Denis Douglin (17-3).

What is Eddie thinking with this PPV, he's a smart business man but this just makes no sense to me.

Decent KO from Povetkin against Carlos Takam earlier on.

Anyone know when the Mayweather/Pac match is scheduled for?

I hope I didn't miss it.

GGG v Martin Murray signed for Feb 21st in Monte Carlo.

Murray should be similar quality to Geale, Macklin and Rubio (with Stevens and Rosado a little below that).

I'm still happy/excited for the fight, because it represents the best realistic opponent GGG could have in February, and another dominant win over another legitimate opponent will keep maximizing his popularity.

I think I've been saying that for over a year now though, but something's gotta give at some point, right? (like Canelo, Cotto, Ward, Froch type fights).

Well he is the mandatory for Cotto now.

I mean GGG is going to beat Murray pretty easily as he did with Macklin & everyone else. He's just a machine at MW, it's not really fair that he might have to go up to SMW in order to get the test he needs but he's gonna have to do it and I would pay to watch.

It seems he has his mind firmly on Cotto tho so he may want that fight before even considering going up to SMW.

Im not the biggest Froch fan but even he would go way up in my estimation if he decided to fight GGG before he retired.

Froch doesn't need to box Golovkin to prove he'll fight anyone.

Im not saying that ... but if he managed to beat Golovkin then even the haters ( like me ) would have to give him the utmost respect
