Porter is going to crush him. Wouldn't be surprised if it was over in 4. Brook hasn't tasted the competition Shawn has. With his come at you brawler style he will simply over whelm Kell.

Im goin with Porter to KO Brook inside 6 rounds. Wilder to win in 1st round

Well at least Kell got himself in shape.

I'm betting on Porter myself, Kell just hasn't done it yet, if he wins then fair enough he'll make me a believer but I think he'll struggle tonight.

I'm not the most up to date or knowledgeable boxing fan , last fight I saw was Groves vs Froch 2 which was good enough. Even though I'm more a casual fan I can appreciate finesse fights as well slugfests. Seeing Rigondeux give Donaire a boxing lesson was fun for me.

Anything I missed recently or coming up worth watching ? Heard Kovalev mentioned above and boy was this guy destructive , quite impressive.

Unfortunately never even heard of Kell or Porter before reading the above posts.

Thanks. Looks like I can manage to watch him vs Geale , Adama , and Rosado quite easily.

Anything older a must watch ? Has he usually been the main attraction or on undercards ? If so any names of the main bouts on the cards he fought in would be helpful.

Thanks again.

Mathysse Garcia was good too, Rios Alvarado I and II. Any Manny vs Marquez fight. Don't forget to do Golovkin Stevens.

My favorite, and it's an older one now, is Castillo Corrales.

Back to more recent, Bradley Provodnikov, Stevenson Fonfara was solid, Crawford Gamboa was good, Arreola Stiverne...

Type in stuff like "2013 fight of the year candidates" do that for each year you want to see and you can pick up the top 5-10 fights pretty reliably.

I put a little bit on Porter Brook Over 10.5 rounds at +105.

Porter -205 is tempting too, but meh, I like the over better.

Hernandez Arslan is on later today, that could be interesting. You'd expect Hernandez to win, but Arslan can still punch, he's tough, and Hernandez can't afford to make too many big mistakes here.

Ya , think I've seen Castillo Corrales 4 times already and all the awesome welterweight bouts for the most part over the last while , all the Marquez , Pacquiao , Castillo bouts.

I'll check out the others you mentioned , thanks.

Hernandez (top 1-2 at cruiserweight) about to fight Arslan (a top 10 cruiser at the tail end of his career).

9pm EST is the card, and there are two fights prior to the main event.

I would guess 10pm is definitely safe, even 1030pm EST is pretty safe, but more likely to be 11pm EST.

Program starts at 2am on SS1 and ends at 5am so you're probably looking at 3:00-3:30am.

Arslan Hernandez was really solid.

Spoiler:
I think Arslan was close to cracking him. Wish he would've thrown a bit more in the last round in particular, maybe he wins or draws.

Why is Wilder taking a step back to mediocrity? Shouldn't he be ready to challenge the top10 fighters now?

He was scheduled to challenge Bermane Stiverne for the WBC belt, but Stiverne pulled out due to injury. This is a hastily-pulled-together stay-busy bout.

Assuming all goes to plan, that fight will still take place.

That's unfortunate. Stiverne has looked pretty good when ive seen him fight.

Was Stiverne-Wilder going to be on the same card as Brook-Porter? That's a really nice card, both excellent fights. Jason Gavern is a joke opponent for Wilder. You can at least give him Kevin Johnson who will fight anyone, is very tough and might go 12 rounds.
