Tonight really makes me feel like Al Haymon doesn't really rig fights. Clearly if there was a fight to have a pair of judges in your pocket, it was this one, yea?

Personally, seemed close. Hard to tell without watching this sober in HD. Canelo didn't seem to really hurt him much, but Lara didn't seem to land a ton either. Less than 10 punches landed per round for each, heh. About as entertaining as a fight can be for so few punches landed.

7-5 either guy is fine with me
hard to get too upset about the outcome but canelo was not that great at all

i will just say straight up i was wrong i thought canelo would win 8-4 at worst convincingly. He won 8-4 at absolute best if you gave him every round that was 60-40

I had it 116-112. I don't have a problem with 117-111. That's the first three to Cuba and the rest to Mexico. In my opinion, the 10th was the only round besides the first three that Lara can argue he won. Even if you give him two more on top, it's just a draw.

Very interesting fight. Lara can disappear, though.

about what i expected. i can't hate on canelo at all considering he fought lara who made zero sense for him. lara held his own though. i will watch him v anyone in his weight division

Maidana Canelo would be aweonr. Although I think Canelo got kind of owned tonight none fights like lara. I dont think canelo lost neccesarily (although an argument cojld certainly be made) but it kind of showed hey beatin angulos ass may or may not actually be impressive.Canelo beat trout and lara so propsto him. Cotton canelo would be sweeeeet
