There's gotta be somebody at GBP who isn't a POS at middleweight for Quilin to fight.

What sucker punch? That was Ortiz's "NO MAS" lol. He gave up. And you must not have been watching that fight if you don't think Floyd was easily gonna KO him. Before that, Ricky Hatton in '07 before 21 month "retirement".

Floyd isn't really a power puncher either. He doesn't go for the KO, he embarrasses his opponents. You don't think he could have put Canelo out?

If he fought Pac, that would be the most likely spot for his next KO (I think he KO's Maidana too tho), because Pac will do what he always does. and if Marquez can flatten the little Filipino, then Floyd sure as **** can.

Pac comes forward, throws a lot, has inferior footwork, is 3 inches shorter, and his reflexes are slower. All a recipe to be face first out cold by round 8.

Unfortunately, this is the case. Maybe Bob Arum will croak soon and we can move on from this petty split between the promotions

Is the guy n the background getting ready to fap?

Also, boxers don't use steroids. Where would you get the assumption that prizefighters have access to steroids? Outlandish.. Pretty obv to me Ivan Drago was getting IV's for dehydration.

MM, you might find the forum members at boxingscene.com think at your speed and have the same logic you do when it comes to discussing boxing.

i'm pretty shocked the lomachenko-russell jr fight actually got made

june 21st on showtime

really really interesting fight. we are going to learn a lot about both fighters i think. finally russell is fighting a somebody. seems like a really risky fight to take for both of them but i can dig it for sure

Lol. Maybe you're right. I think we are deluding ourselves if any of us thinks we know anything about boxing. Public forums are meant for opinions. That's all we are expressing here. When Money destroys Pac, maybe some will be proven right and others wrong. It won't change anything tho. We will still have our opinions. None of us are world class prizefighters tho,.

Very excited for Lemo/GRjr. This came out of nowhere. I got Lemo by UD.

BLH says it might be in Carson, CA, if so I'm guessing Pat Russell. Cole is sooo bad, keep him half the country away from this fight or any other fight with "title" anywhere in the name.

Pumped for the fight, and also for a GB fighter vs a TR fighter. Good precedent. Not that it will matter if GB puts Grandpa Bob out of business..

Yeah I remember seeing russel jr a few years ago and thought he had potential but hes been fighting nothing but cans up to this point. Surprised this fight actually got made.

Also not surprised that the Bradley Pac fight came in at 800,000 buys. I didnt think it would reach a million but still its a decent number for the #2 draw in boxing.

Man, I wish Pac signed with GB instead. Interested to see how he would do against the likes of Broner, Maidana, and even Khan (and may obv)

All those mentioned would be mismatches (except for Floyd) in my opinion.
Broner struggled with Malignaggi, arguably lost to pdl and lost to Maidana.
Khan would be going out on a stretcher.
Maidana would be a very fun fight but lets not act like he's anything more than a tough fighter that hits really hard.

Who's left for Pac in TR? Provo at 140? JMM V at 147? Doesn't seem like TR has any up and coming fighters either in the JWW-WW division

Provodnikov isn't a TR fighter btw. He fights for "Banner Promotions". The key thing is that he isn't a GBP fighter.

No the options for both Pac and Mayweather are limited.

If we disregard 154 i'd be OK with the following matchups.

Floyd vs. Garcia

Pac vs. Marquez
Pac vs. Bradley 3 (their 2nd was entertaining)
Pac vs. Provodnikov

Not sure who else i'd like to see Floyd fight.
Thurman is a promising fighter but not proven yet.
Khan is just a mess and need to sort his career out and come back stronger.
Devon Alexander is meh.
Lara (if he beats Canelo) would be of much interest, but that's up to Floyd if he wants to fight at 154 or not.

wtf, we can't disregard 154, Floyd should be fighting MWs and SMWs, smdh etc

May Vs. GGG/Sergio?

Floyd's a little too small imo

Yea Floyd's got the least options at WW since he's just on a different level. Garcia is pretty much the only one I'd be interested to see.

Pac's vulnerability makes fight with provo interesting.
Bradley 3 is going to be a chess match. Bradley made the 2nd fight entertaining by trying to emulate JMM's KO.

Pac vs JMM makes the most sense but doubt JMM would fight Pac again.
