I think Angulo plays well into Canelo's hands. Canelo should fight very well against a fighter that comes at him and is there to be hit back. Canelo has great hand speed and power, and he can dodge well enough too.
Floyd exploited Canelo in a lot of ways that Angulo could never even dream of.
I'm more concerned about Canelo vs Lara, not bc I think Lara is necessarily all that, but bc of the style matchup. Canelo does have the speed to hit Lara though, but as Trout showed, footwork is important (Trout looked dumbfounded about how to attack a movement fighter once he realized he couldn't out run and jab the running jabber Lara). I don't think Canelo's footwork is all that good.
I'm not betting on this fight though, but if I did it'd be Canelo. Maybe it's a leak, I rarely bet on big favorites. Probably a leak.
Wish Angulo beat Lara, it'd probably be like 2-1 or 3-1.

Wouldn't hate this, Angulo is pretty damn cool.

I am super excited for Saturday
I agree, gonna watch it at a local theater (why don't they do this more often, $18 to go see a PPV fight on a big screen? I'm there).

One of my all time favorite fights. Quillin undercard fight was good too, don't skip on that if you guys have a double card video or whatever.

If he didn't get knocked out by Garcia, then Khan would have a case that Floyd is dodging him but it's just that Maidana would be a more entertaining fight.
Guerrero and Canelo weren't brawlers. Neither was Marquez. Neither was DLH.
Cotto and Castillo fought him more like brawls and had a little bit and a lot of success respectively. Then again, Hatton was brawling and he had zero success.
That's why I think Khan has no point.
Additionally, fast hands don't make up for losing 2 of 4 or whatever and looking bad in your most recent win. When fast hands can hardly beat washed up veterans, how are they supposed to be effective against the best counter puncher/punch timing/footwork artist in the game? I never got that.
