Jim Watt is such a homer. You can sense the sadness and depression in his voice as Crawford picks Burns apart.

Gonna take serious riggage for Burns to win.

I didn't see the first 4 rounds, but Crawford has won every round since I started watching imo

-----------

Based on the scores, seems to me that the Kraut fight broke out after I switched to Burns/Crawford. Was a hugfest the first half of the fight. Somewhat underwhelming night of boxing at the moment.

Is there any value taking Vera at +400? I watched the first fight and to be honest it was an a** kickin'. Vera manhandled Chavez the whole fight and got robbed pretty bad on the decision.

Chavez is obv. in a lot better condition for this fight though and has a superior speed advantage. Also don't like that it's in Texas where a riggage against Vera is almost guaranteed (even though Vera is from Texas, lol).

If Chavez had a jab, he'd already be SMW champion. He has to prove tonight that he isn't just a waste of raw talent.

Was disappointed with the Abraham/Stieglitz fight. The first one was really action heavy. Hell of a show. Almost looked like Abraham mailed in the second fight from the start. The third was a bit of a hugfest in the first half of the fight (which is all that I saw).

Lomachenko/Salido a few minutes from starting

Hahaha, this is SO true, unofficially Salido enters the ring at 147, VL at 136..

For the record I only gave Burns two rounds against TC. And a big LOL at Chaves showing up fashionably late!

Basically no way Lomachenko wins by KO, right?

I'd be very surprised. Not active enough to chop down a welter.. then again, Salido's older, Mikey touched him..

Lomachenko is afraid to leave himself open to counters especially given that massive weight disadvantage he faces.

The kid puts together some nice combos when he's comfortable though. Typical Laurence Cole, the most annoying referee ever.

30-27 Siri, who would have thought? Very close to 10-10 first round.

Lomachenko seems to be a slower version of Rigondeaux. Dancing, poking, not doing much damage but getting hit too often

EDIT: Yay Lomachenko finally won a round

About as exciting too, it's hard to make a Salido fight boring..

This ref is AIDS. How many low blows is this idiot going to ignore?

Might have to give the last round to VL. Close though.

Lomo bit off more than he could chew by picking Salido in his second pro fight......

Those body shots are adding up more and more. Salido's size is such a major factor.

Can't believe people on HBO are saying this is a close fight. 6-2 Salido imo

Lomo has not had one good punch the entire fight IMO. He needs something big to change the judges' minds.

To be fair, he's giving up 11 pounds and doesn't have the speed to compensate for it.

Totally agree. That's why I think he bit off way too much picking a fight like this for his second pro fight.

Salido is gassed, but VL doesn't have the power to take advantage of it.

I only have 2 rounds going to VL

Salido is beyond gassed. Lomo could lockbox a draw if he wins these last two.
