Very hard fight to score, posting this before results is announced, I have no clue who won, but both guys have guts galore.

Kessler is shot though, I don't think he'll win any more fights in the Super 6 after this fight.

for me its a pity that froch likes to fight of his back foot, as he looks like he has all the talent in the world and with a wee bit more attacking intention he would be a top top notch fighter.

bleh the jugding tho, margin is just a bit too big.

LOL Someone had the win put up on Froch's wiki page before the decision was announced too.

I've seen bigger robberies ldo but Froch clearly won I thought and that it's unanimous is just amazing. Sauerland took no chances when he rigged this one.

with froch trying to counter all night, and imo he was going to have to KO kessler FTW, MK cut the ring off all night and when he put him in the corner he let go.

CF walked backwards all night and was only responding to whatever MK was throwing at him, never taking the initiative cost him a lot.

yes kev i see why in a lot of cases but tonight i thought kessler done enough to win, not by 117-113 but still enough to win.

what is it you say?

attack attack attack.

I dunno, thought Kessler won it fair and square (though not the 11-1 Kessler win that the Danish commentator saw). Many equal rounds, but Kessler got more punches in.

hmm bbc had kessler winning too http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/boxing/8642319.stm

I'll be interested in seeing some other scores. Kinda regretting I didn't have a go at it myself.

1 2 I remember as really close

then 3 4 5 as Froch

Kessler did have some moments in the middle but I still thought it was mostly Froch

Kessler might have won 9 or 10 but though I give huge credit for the effort I thought Froch landed better in the wild 11 and 12

He was definitely the more active (would like to see some stats on what landed or not) which of course presents a classic boxing dilemma and sometimes excuse for a biased judge to hand it to an outboxed but more aggressive fighter.

For me I thought Kessler was swinging and missing alot and Froch was landing with the cleaner punches but maybe im in the minority then.

I mean the close rounds should go to the champion but in this case with the fight in Denmark I guess its expected to go to Kessler. Not total daylight robbery but I thought Froch did enough to win

Anyways, enjoyable fight.

Was a clear Kessler UD win.

117-111
116-112
115-113

Froch started strong, but...

honestly can't see how anyone could score it a win for Froch, he was out worked, hustled and boxed from the 6th round on. Am sure the punch stats would support it. I will give him credit for battling through the championship rds, both of them and making it a fun fight to watch.

No robbery here.
