Is there anything of interest on the Broner undercard? Either fights that carry some significance or interesting/fun match ups?

Probably a safe bet. Broner will be smart enough to stay away from him and dance to U12

Thurman and JSK will undoubtedly be entertaining. Thurman is an undefeated prospect who is on the cusp of headlining probably whereas JSK is a gate keeper type but has a granite chin and warrior spirit.Thurman should win but his boxing is a little suspect so should be action for as long as it lasfs

Thanks multi. Not familiar with Thurman so a little context helps. Much appreciated and will watch.

Quite frankly, I think AB is fighting the wrong Argentinian.
Not saying i disagree with you, but how have Broner performed vs. "the elite"?
He hasn't.

He fought good but barely top10 fighters in Malignaggi who he narrowly beat and PDL who most felt he lost to.

Maidanas win over Ortiz may actually be better than anything Broner has done to date if we discount paper titles and look at what is important. The quality of the opponent.

I expect Broner to win (and when he do will probably make Maidana look slow. That's usually what happens when Maidana loses) but i could definitely see Maidana crushing him.

Thurman was very impressive. Thurman vs. Broner/Maidana winner would be great.

Thurman vs Broner/Maidana winner would be an excellent fight. Possible PPV material.

Broner trying too hard to be Floyd and failing at it.

I don't think so personally (I bet Broner -500), but we'll see. It's all about if you believe Broner is the fast, smart boxer that many think he is or if he's overhyped and mediocre like others think.

Maidana I think we have a good sample of what he does. If you let him wind up and plant his feet he's a huge puncher. If you box and move and fight smart, he's very beatable.

So depending on what you think of Broner, you made a good bet or a bad bet.
