Anyone watching Kell Brook vs Vyacheslav Senchenko next week?

I will watch it on TV ... although its another dead rubber for Brook.

If anyone's career can stand still for what seems like years then its Kell Brook's.

I used to really rate him ... but eventually you get bored with him talking about the same things for years.

Hes been one fight away from a world title fight for 3 years now !

I snuck in a question on the Alvarado QA on espn.com today.

Ryan (Denver)

After beating Provodnikov, would you rather face Bradley, Marquez or Manny (assuming he beats Rios)?
Mike Alvarado
(2:46 PM)

I would rather fight Pacquiao because he's the bigger name right now. But Bradley would be a good fight too. He looked good in his fight against Marquez.

--

He also mentioned that he'd box Provo on Saturday, not slug with him. He said that before Rios II and held his word enough to run away down the stretch. I really like his chances if he's moving around and boxing, I think Provo might be slightly overrated in this fight due to Bradley just trading with him for 12 rounds previously (and he still didn't beat Bradley).

We'll see, should still be a good fight.

Possibly the worst undercard of recent memory tonight. I wonder if they'll even televise more than one fight before the main event.

Bunch of 4 and 6 rounders, then a 14-10 guy faces Juan Diaz.

Carl Frampton on later.

Another local lad, Ryan Burnett had his 3rd fight on the same show, won in second round after completely dominating. He looks exciting as ****.

Frampton looked impressive from start to finish. The opponent didn't look like a stiff fundamentally (solid chin, crisp jab, fine looking power punches and movement), but Frampton really made him look like a stiff with the way he fought.

Would be interesting to see Frampton fight the top guys in the weight class, but I'm sure the winner of the Kiko fight will be entertaining enough (seems they are gunning to fight the winner of that one).

You can probably add Quigg vs Frampton to that annoyingly long list of fights that will never happen because of boxing politics.

Yeah MHM tasted the leather and didn't like it much. He's a better boxer so no need for him to stand there and trade.

Hard to have it anything other than 2-2 if you ask me. Good fight so far.

Alvarado not wanting to exchange at all. I don't like this new defensive look

I have it 3-3.
