I had it 116-111 for Rigondeaux. He's so good but there are times when he is just awful to watch. I can't think of anyone interesting for him to fight now. The rematch seems to be out of the question because Donaire is having shoulder surgery. It would be quite cool if he just retired, imagine that; 2x world amateur champion, 2x Olympic champion and undefeated world champion.

Donaire vs Juanma Lopez would be a good fight to make later this year.

lol, that's what they all say. It wouldn't surprise me if he's telling the truth though.

He wont retire now that he's going to start making some money.

Mikey Garcia would be an awesome opponent. He's Top Rank too.

Imagine if Rigo was with GBP.

Santa Cruz, Mares and Gary Russell jr would all be fun fights.

I hope we see Santa Cruz vs Mares before either of them fights Rigondeaux.

On the contrary, it was easy to score. Rigondeaux's performance was truly masterful. It was amazing to see Rigo completely shutdown a great fighter who hasn't lost in ~12 years.

I just watched it for the first time. Admittedly ON youtube so not that easy to tell when punches land. I always have a hard time judging the lower weight fighters cuz they are so damn quick. I had rig 8 to 4 but personally I think judges have made far more terrible scores on the reg than here for the titlist. Not gonna lie I felt it a very boring f7ght. Rig obv has sick defense and counterpunching skills but I guess I am not a bpxing purist cuz I def f9und it boring. Although even Donaire I find boring a lot. Just not a big fan of the smaller guys

also thought the fight was boring. thought it was going to change when nonito came rushing out of his corner in the 10th (?) but he couldn't sustain it.

he admitted to not taking the training part seriously, and underestimated rigo. most prolly think of that as an excuse, but i thought he was being honest.

Chisora is a bit of a nutter. He says he's going to dedicated his next fight, which is against an Argentine opponent, to Margaret Thatcher. I really hope that Martin Murray doesn't have a similar plan.

If anyone wants a laugh here is the Ring's latest pound-for-pound list:

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
2. Andre Ward
3. Juan Manuel Marquez
4. Sergio Martinez
5. Adrien Broner
6. Manny Pacquiao
7. Wladimir Klitschko
8. Robert Guerrero
9. Timothy Bradley
10. Nonito Donaire

Yeah that's truly pathetic.

What the hell is Broner even doing on that list? IT's just because he's the new face of golden boy.

The rest of them i'm ok with. Rigo should be on there though and maybe Mikey Garcia instead of Guerrero.

It's just insane. Rigondeaux's victory over Donaire is several levels above what Broner's ever done

Just noticed Javier Fortuna is fighting on FNF tomorrow night. He is always a great watch, I like him a lot as a prospect.

September 14
Juan Manuel Marquez V Timothy Bradley

No official confirmation but it seems like a done deal.

As a JMM fan I really hate this fight for him =/

I'd be really surprised if JMM was to face Bradley next - he'd make at least 3 times as much for fighting Pacquiao. Perhaps Pac wanted an easier fight v. someone like Alvarado first (or Marquez figures even if he gets outpointed, a fifth Pacquiao fight will still sell).

The Marquez fight, if it happens, would only be the second boxing fight I see after this weekend's Canelo v. Trout.

Really don't understand why JMM would fight Bradley. I will def watch and think it is a cool fight (and is gonna be a huge fight for Bradley) but I don't get why JMM would take it. If he somehow loses a lopsided decision to Bradley or something I can definitely see it hurting the Pacman 5 fight.

He basically killed a man within first round. Dude had to be taken off on a stretcher
