Watched entire fight and was surprised at the judge's scores. I am probably biased though as I put a little on Cunningham.

Did you watch long enough to hear the even worse news?

yes, the 2nd part of that post was an edit. hence the "boxing is a joke" statement.

Who is everyone's fighter of the year? I would say it's close between Donaire and Marquez and I would probably give it to Donaire.

JMM will probably get it due to the Pacman fight, but I think Donaire deserves it imo

Wladimir will probably be in the running assuming being boring doesn't count against you.

You're joking about Wladimir right??

Wlad didnt beat anyone good. Donaire did.

Personally i think beating an iconic fighter like jmm did is more impressive than what donaire did so hes foty for me.

Wlad is continually fighting #1 contenders in the HW division. Not his fault that his opponents are ****.

That said, I'd give it to Donaire.

Well i dont think mormeck and possibly wach was anywhere near number one contrnder, but i agree he does what he can out of a horrible division.

Not his fault povetkin was too afraid to fight him and haye just ran with a defect pinkytoe.

As far as judging foty though, it is about who you beat not their ranking.

Donaire probably should, but won't be surprised if it's Marquez.

Merry Xmas everyone.

That will be an absolute slaughter fest. Broner will eat him alive (literally).

Rees will put up a brave effort though...

Broner is very talented but too much of a Floyd clone. It's really annoying.

It's such a waste to have Broner at 135 when 140 is relatively interesting.
And at 130 you have Gamboa.

I have hope though. GBP fighters usually get tested. Sometimes the young talent could even be considered matched recklessly.

Al Haymon though....

It's about time Gary Russell jr also steps it up. He's ready for it.

Thoughts on Peter Quillin? vs GGG? vs Martinez? Chavez jr?

Like many ... you are underrating Rees and overrating Broner.

This fight will be a lot more competitive than you think.

Not saying Rees will win but hes going to surprise a few.

God knows what Burns is thinking after hearing Rees is fighting Broner ... FW is really buggering up things for Burns.

Burns is buggering things up for himself, he keeps turning down the fight.

I agree with you HH but I still dont see anything other than a stoppage win for Broner.

Broner is just the latest HBO hype job .... his career will go a bit like Berto's.

I don't even know how you could compare the two

broner doesn't get hit

Broner has way more boxing skill than Berto. I hate the guy, but I can't deny that he's talented.
