Damn Manny agrees to 45-55 favoring Floyd AND random blood and urine tests up to the day of the fight. Floyd had netter hope JMM can knock Manny out...

The blood testing hasn't been an issue for a long time now. All that's changed here is that Floyd has been offered an extra 5%. I think Floyd's latest offer was that he gets to keep all the PPV money though.

Carl Frampton is the real deal, he's gonna hand out a beating/KO to Molitor here.

4 rounds of domination for Frampton, doubtful this goes more than another 2 rounds IMO.

Beaten into submission before the end of the 6th, good show Frampton.

Reportedly that's correct. Problem with that is no big money fighter is going to take a flat fee with 0% PPV revenues. Floyd knows this which is why he offered that. Floyd's been ducking Pac for 3 years already and just because all the terms are in his favor doesn't mean this fight is any closer to happening than it was in 2010. Floyd's always got an excuse to duck Pac and cherrypick opponents he's sure to beat. He's on my ignore list because of that.

I saw Frampton's last fight and was impressed with his skills but disappointed with his lack of aggression. Yesterday he went for the KO and got it. If he keeps fighting like that he's one to watch. Lots of upside there.

anyone catch "the fight game" with lampley last night?

jim and hbo went out of their way like 5x to mention that showtime would not allow hbo to show any highlights from showtime fighters. while they're right that st should want those to be seen (it's better for both companies and boxing) you dont need to beat the dead horse. there's no way st will ever budge after that.

I saw it on hbogo today pretty entertaining regardless. I like lampley despite him being so dramatic all the time at least you can tell he loves boxing.that whole hbo crew is just great except for merchant. Roy Jones and steward are goat at explaining some of the technical aspects and kellerman and lampley hold their own imo

I switch the pre-fight tease show, Fight Day Live, or the Weigh-in show for HBO when they are in Vegas and also worked a couple Olympics with Lampley. He is incredibly knowledgeable and also approachable. Had a couple nice conversations with him. Also impressed with Roy Jones. He does quite well with his commentary, which I believe is unscripted.

I agree. I thought Roy Jones would be a bit too punchy to be a commentator, but seems to be good at it. I thought Lennox Lewis was pretty good as well.

ya, i agree with hbo guys being great. love all their work. even enjoy laughing at merchant sometimes, tho i prefer he is never calling fights.

just didnt agree with their tactics in calling out showtime. if you're really interested in getting them to work with you, there's better ways of going about it than constantly referring to the fact that they wont let you show a highlight. 5x in a half hour show is overkill.

Lampley seems very intelligent and he certainly likes to show off his intellect, I would need a dictionary to understand everything he said. Roy Jones is good now but he used to be unbearable because he would talk about god and himself far too much. I used to dislike Kellerman but he's growing on me. I think Larry Merchant is just too old now. Other than HBO the only other guy I think is really good is Al Bernstein of Showtime.

Bernstein is great. He use to write for the neighborhood newspaper that I was a stringer photographer for during high school in the middle 70's. This was a suburban Chicago chain of papers. 30 yrs later I run into him on a boxing gig and we swap stories about working for that group.

Dan Rafael said today that HBO is working on some sensors in the gloves to find out how hard each fighter is punching. Been in the works for a couple of years he says. That will be some interesting **** when that becomes a reality

All of this.

I liked Merchant going against Mayweather telling him that he could kick his ass if he was younger.

I used to like Teddy Atlas. He's blunt and direct, which I respect. However, he seems to repeat his color comments a bit too much. He also acts stunned and shocked at every bit of obvious boxing corruption in the sport. He just wore on me after a while.
